A nestable display crate for bottle carriers having a floor and a wall structure with that is designed to reveal the labels on the bottle carriers. The wall structure is of double thickness and comprises a lower wall portion adjacent the floor and a plurality of integrally formed contoured upper wall portions extending upward from the lower wall portion. The wall structure is hollow throughout allowing the contoured upper wall portions to be received within the lower wall portion of a crate nested thereabove. The contoured upper wall portions are tapered to be smaller in cross section at the top and larger near the lower wall portion to enable easy nesting and to avoid nested crates from becoming wedged together due to interference. The upper wall portions are in the shape of gear teeth that are spaced along the opposing sidewalls and endwalls of the crate. The upper wall portions along the sidewalls are positioned so that they are between six-pack carriers when the crate is loaded, and the space in between the upper wall portions is a window that allows for a bottle carrier to be visible. The endwalls of the crate comprise integrally molded handles which are configured to allow for palm-up or palm-down gripping. The crate of the present invention combines the advantages of a nesting crate with sufficient strength afforded by its double-walled construction with maximum, unobstructed visibility of bottle carriers.

1. A low depth nestable display crate for a bottle carrier comprising: a floor for supporting a bottle carrier; anda wall structure including endwalls and sidewalls extending around a periphery of the floor,wherein the sidewalls each include a sidewall lower wall portion having an interior bottle carrier support surface connected to the floor, and an upper wall portion including spaced sidewall tooth members extending upwardly from the sidewall lower wall portion and defining display openings between the spaced sidewall tooth members, wherein the display openings are sized to reveal a label on the bottle carrier for displaying the bottle carrier in a loaded crate, andwherein the endwalls each include an endwall lower wall portion defining an endwall cut-out, endwall tooth members and a handle bar integrally molded with the endwall tooth members, wherein the endwall cut-out provides the handle bar clearance below the handle bar, clearance above the handle bar from a stacked crate thereabove, and sufficient clearance between the handle bar and the bottle carrier loadable in the crate to enable a user's hand to completely encircle the handle bar, wherein a ratio of a number of display openings in the sidewalls to a number of endwall cut-outs in the endwalls is 2, and the display openings each have a width that extends in the horizontal direction and a height that extends in a vertical direction, and the width is greater than the height. 2. The crate of claim 1 wherein the spaced sidewall tooth members each include an interior side having an interior teeth panel that is substantially flat to provide lateral support to the bottle carrier loadable in the crate. 3. The crate of claim 1 wherein the spaced sidewall tooth members each include an interior teeth panel, and a sidewall cut-out is disposed below the interior teeth panel. 4. The crate of claim 3 wherein the interior bottle carrier support surface includes the sidewall cut-out. 5. The crate of claim 1 wherein the spaced sidewall tooth members each extend above and inwardly from the sidewall lower wall portion to form a shoulder between the spaced sidewall tooth members. 6. The crate of claim 1 wherein the spaced sidewall tooth members each have a substantially trapezoidal shape. 7. The crate of claim 1 wherein the spaced sidewall tooth members each are upwardly tapered. 8. The crate of claim 1 wherein the spaced sidewall tooth members each include an upper portion having an upper portion width and a bottom portion having a bottom portion width, wherein the bottom portion width is greater than the upper portion width. 9. The crate of claim 1 wherein the sidewall lower wall portion between the spaced sidewall tooth members is substantially flat. 10. The crate of claim 1 wherein at least one of the spaced sidewall tooth members and the endwall tooth members include a nesting rib to bear against a top surface of a corresponding tooth member in a crate nested therebelow. 11. The crate of claim 1 wherein the sidewall lower wall portion includes an exterior surface, and at least one rib member extends from the exterior surface and towards the interior bottle carrier support surface. 12. The crate of claim 1 wherein the sidewall lower wall portion includes an exterior surface, and the sidewall lower wall portion between the spaced sidewall tooth members includes a top surface extending between the exterior surface and the interior bottle carrier support surface that is generally flat. 13. The crate of claim 1 wherein the sidewall lower wall portion includes an exterior surface that is solid. 14. The crate of claim 1 wherein the spaced sidewall tooth members each include an upper edge defined at least partially by a rounded surface. 15. The crate of claim 1 wherein the sidewall lower wall portion has a double thickness. 16. The crate of claim 1 wherein the upper wall portion has a double thickness. 17. The crate of claim 1 wherein the floor defines a substantially flat surface. 18. The crate of claim 1 wherein there are four bottle carriers. 19. A combination comprising: the crate of claim 1; anda bottle carrier made of cardboard inserted within the crate. 20. A combination comprising: the crate of claim 1; anda bottle carrier inserted within the crate including six bottles. 21. A combination comprising: the crate of claim 1; anda bottle carrier inserted within the crate including six compartments, and each of the six compartments receives a bottom portion of a bottle. 22. A combination comprising: the crate of claim 1; anda bottle carrier inserted within the crate including a label, wherein the label is revealed within at least one of the display openings. 23. A combination comprising: the crate of claim 1; anda bottle carrier inserted within the crate including a label, wherein the wall structure includes an upper edge, and the label is located within at least one of the display openings and below the upper edge of the wall structure. 24. A combination comprising: the crate of claim 1; anda bottle carrier inserted within the crate including a plurality of compartments, and each of the plurality of compartments receives a bottom portion of a bottle. 25. A combination comprising: the crate of claim 1; anda bottle carrier inserted within the crate, wherein a portion of the bottle carrier is between a bottom portion of a bottle and the crate. 26. A combination comprising: the crate of claim 1; anda bottle carrier inserted within the crate including a label, wherein the label includes a horizontally elongated logo, and the horizontally elongated logo is viewable in one of the display openings. 27. The combination of claim 26 wherein the crate includes four display openings and there are four bottle carriers each having the horizontally elongated logo, and the horizontally elongated logo of each of the bottle carriers is viewable in one of the four display openings. 28. A low depth nestable display crate comprising: a floor; anda wall structure including endwalls and sidewalls extending around a periphery of the floor,wherein the sidewalls include a lower wall portion and an upper wall portion, and the lower wall portion includes an interior lower panel connected to the floor, the upper wall portion includes spaced tooth members extending upward from the lower wall portion and defining display openings between the spaced tooth members, and at least a portion of the upper wall portion has a double wall thickness including two spaced apart walls separated by a void,wherein a cutout is located adjacent a connection of the interior lower panel of the lower wall portion and the floor, and the interior lower panel of the lower wall portion includes a portion of the cutout and the floor includes another portion of the cutout, wherein the display openings have a width that extends in a horizontal direction and a height that extends in a vertical direction, and the width is greater than the height. 29. The crate of claim 28, wherein the interior lower panel of the lower wall portion includes an alternating arrangement of interior panels connected to the floor and the portion of the cutout. 30. The crate of claim 28, wherein the spaced tooth members include an interior teeth panel, and the portion of the cutout of the interior lower panel of the lower wall portion are centrally located below the interior teeth panel. 31. The crate of claim 28, wherein the portion of the cutout of the interior lower panel of the lower wall portion is substantially trapezoidal. 32. The crate of claim 28, wherein the portion of the cutout of the floor is substantially elongated. 33. The crate of claim 28, wherein the spaced tooth members include an interior side having an interior teeth panel that is substantially flat to provide lateral support to a bottle carrier loaded in the crate. 34. The crate of claim 28, wherein the lower wall portion between the spaced tooth members is substantially flat. 35. The crate of claim 28, wherein the spaced tooth members include an upper edge defined at least partially by a rounded surface. 36. The crate of claim 28, wherein the floor defines a substantially flat surface. 37. The crate of claim 28, wherein a portion of the lower wall portion is defined by a single wall. 38. The crate of claim 28, wherein the spaced tooth members are substantially trapezoidal. 39. The crate of claim 28, wherein the endwalls include an endwall lower wall portion defining an endwall cutout and an endwall upper wall portion including endwall tooth members. 40. A combination comprising: a low depth nestable display crate for a bottle carrier including: a floor for supporting a bottle carrier; anda wall structure including endwalls and sidewalls extending around a periphery of the floor,wherein the sidewalls include a lower wall portion and an upper wall portion, and the lower wall portion includes an interior lower panel connected to the floor, the upper wall portion includes spaced tooth members extending upward from the lower wall portion and defining display openings between the spaced tooth members, and at least a portion of the upper wall portion has a double wall thickness including two spaced apart walls separated by a void,wherein a cutout is located adjacent a connection of the interior lower panel of the lower wall portion and the floor, and the interior lower panel of the lower wall portion includes a portion of the cutout and the floor includes another portion of the cutout; andthe bottle carrier inserted within the crate, wherein the bottle carrier includes a logo. 46. The combination of claim 45, wherein the bottle carrier comprises four bottle carriers made of cardboard, each bottle carrier holds six bottles, and a portion of the bottle carrier is located between a bottom portion of a bottle and the floor of the crate. 47. The combination of claim 45, wherein the logo is a horizontally elongated logo that is viewable in one of the display openings. 48. The combination of claim 47, wherein the crate includes four display openings and the bottle carrier comprises four bottle carriers each having the horizontally elongated logo, and the horizontally elongated logo of each of the bottle carriers is viewable in one of the four display openings. 49. The combination of claim 45, wherein the upper wall portion includes an upper edge and the logo is located within at least one of the display openings and below the upper edge. 50. The combination of claim 45, wherein the display openings are sized to reveal the logo of the bottle carrier for displaying the bottle carrier in a loaded crate. 51. A low depth nestable display crate for a bottle carrier comprising; a floor for supporting a bottle carrier; anda wall structure including endwalls and sidewalls extending around a periphery of the floor,wherein the sidewalls include a lower wall portion and an upper all portion, and the lower wall portion includes an interior lower panel connected to the floor, the upper wall portion includes spaced tooth members extending upward from the lower wall portion and defining display openings between the spaced tooth members, and at least a portion of the upper wall portion has a double wall thickness including two spaced apart wall separated by a void, wherein a cutout is located adjacent a connection of the interior lower panel of the lower wall portion and the floor, and the interior lower panel of the lower wall portion includes a portion of the cutout and the floor includes another portion of the cutout, wherein the another portion of the cutout of the floor is substantially rectangular.
