A power plug locking device that prevents unauthorized removal of a power plug from an inlet includes a lock member pivoted about its axis. The lock member is pivoted between a lock position, at which the lock member locks the power plug to the inlet, and an unlock position, at which the lock member releases the power plug from a state locked to the inlet. A manual operation unit is manually operated to pivot the lock member from the unlock position to the lock position. A position holding unit is formed to hold the lock member at the lock position and maintain the power plug in a locked state with the lock member.

A power plug locking device that prevents unauthorized removal of a power plug from an inlet, the power plug including a lock arm which is pivotable and which is engageable with the inlet, the power plug locking device comprising: a lock member having a longitudinal axis, the lock member being pivotable about the longitudinal axis, wherein the lock member is pivoted between a lock position, at which the, lock member locks the power plug to the inlet by restricting pivoting of the lock arm, and an unlock position, at which the lock member releases the power plug from a state locked to the inlet;a manual operation unit that is manually operable to pivot the lock member from the unlock position to the lock position; anda position holding unit formed to hold the lock member at the lock position and maintain the power plug in a locked state with the lock member. 2. The power plug locking device according to claim 1, wherein: the manual operation unit is linearly moveable;the longitudinal axis about which the lock member is pivoted extends in a direction intersecting an operation direction of the manual operation unit;the lock member is formed by a bar element and includes a hollow portion, which is defined by cutting out part of the bar element in a circumferential direction, and a solid portion, which is defined by the remaining part of the bar element; andwhen the manual operation unit is operated to pivot the lock member to a position at which the solid portion is effective, the solid portion locks the power feed plug to the inlet. 3. The power plug locking device according to claim 1, further comprising: a case in which the lock member, the manual operation unit, and the position holding unit are arranged; anda water resistant unit that prevents fluid from entering the case. 4. The power plug locking device according to claim 1, further comprising a manual releasing unit that is manually operable to pivot the lock member from the lock position to the unlock position. 5. The power plug locking device according to claim 1, further comprising a case in which the lock member, the manual operation unit, and the position holding unit are arranged, wherein the case includes a body fixed to the inlet, and the lock member is coupled to the body. 6. The power plug locking device according to claim 1, wherein the power plug locking device is arranged in a vehicle, and the power plug locking device comprises a driving device that produces drive force to pivot the lock member from the lock position to the unlock position. 7. The power plug locking device according claim 1, wherein the position holding unit includes: a lock piece integrally pivoted with the lock member between a first position, which corresponds to the lock position, and a second position, which corresponds to the unlock position;a lock link pivoted between a third position, which corresponds to the lock position, and a fourth position, which corresponds to the unlock position, wherein the lock link is formed so that when the lock piece is located at the second position, the lock link is supported by the lock piece and held at the fourth position,when the lock piece pivots from the second position to the first position, the lock link is separated from the lock piece and moved from the fourth position to the third position, andthe lock link restricts pivoting of the lock piece at the third position and holds the lock piece at the first position;an urging member that urges the lock link from the fourth position to the third position; anda driving device that produces drive force to pivot the lock link from the third position to the fourth position against the urging force of the urging member to pivot the lock member from the lock position to the unlock position. 8. The power plug locking device according to claim 7, further comprising an unauthorized unlocking prevention unit that prevents the power plug from being released from the state locked to the inlet in an unauthorized manner, wherein the unauthorized unlocking prevention portion includes a support surface that supports the lock link, and the support surface receives stress transmitted from the lock member to the lock link via the lock piece when the lock member, which is held at the lock position, is pivoted in an unauthorized manner toward the unlock position. 9. The power plug locking device according to claim 1, wherein a linear movement of the manual operation unit causes the lock member to pivot about the longitudinal axis.
