Moreover, treatment of tumor-bearing animals with a topical formulation of CoQ10 was shown to dramatically reduce the rate of tumor growth in the animals.

The method of claim 4, wherein administration of the additional anti-cancer agent follows administration of the composition comprising Coenzyme Q10 to the subject. 8. The method of claim 4, wherein the additional anti-cancer agent is an anti-angiogenic agent. 9. The method of claim 4, wherein the additional anti-cancer agent is a chemotherapeutic agent. 10. The method of claim 9, wherein the chemotherapeutic agent is selected from the group consisting of cyclophosphamide, taxanes, busulfan, methotrexate, daunorubicin, doxorubicin, melphalan, cladribine, vincristine, vinblastine, chlorambucil, tamoxifen, taxol, camptothecin, actinomycin-D, mitomycin C, combretastatin, cisplatin, etoposide, verapamil, podophyllotoxin, and 5-fluorouracil. 11. The method of claim 10, wherein the taxane is paclitaxel or docetaxel. 12. The method of claim 1, wherein the subject is a human subject. 13. The method of claim 1, wherein the composition comprising the Coenzyme Q10 is formulated for intravenous administration.
