A cartridge as claimed in claim 1 wherein the channel of the eductor comprises at least one wall that is curved or has a curved portion or curved portions. 3. A cartridge as claimed in claim 2 wherein the channel of the eductor comprises side walls that are curved or each have a curved portion or curved portions. 4. A cartridge as claimed in claim 2 wherein the curved wall or the curved portion or curved portions of the wall has a radius of curvature of from 1.50 to 5.50 mm. 5. A cartridge as claimed in claim 4 wherein the radius of curvature is from 2.00 to 3.00 mm. 6. A cartridge as claimed in claim 5 wherein the radius of curvature is substantially 2.50 mm. 7. A cartridge as claimed in claim 1 wherein the channel of the eductor further comprises at least one wall having a planar portion or planar portions. 8. A cartridge as claimed in claim 1 wherein an angle between the path of the jet of beverage and the at least one impact surface upon which it impinges is an included angle of from 1 to 90 degrees. 9. A cartridge as claimed in claim 8 wherein the included angle is from 20 to 60 degrees. 10. A cartridge as claimed in claim 9 wherein the included angle is substantially from 36 to 39 degrees. 11. A cartridge comprising, one or more beverage ingredients, and an inlet for the introduction of an aqueous medium and a discharge outlet for the beverage produced from the one or more beverage ingredients, the cartridge incorporating within a beverage flow path between the inlet and the discharge outlet an eductor for entraining air into the beverage, the eductor comprising an aperture for producing a jet of the beverage, a channel downstream of the aperture, and at least one air inlet, the channel comprising an entrance and exit through which the beverage travels, and at least one impact surface onto which the jet of beverage impinges,the cartridge further comprising a circulation chamber between the eductor and the outlet, the circulation chamber having a spiral-shaped bounding wall with a curved portion thereof disposed adjacent the exit of the channel, the circulation chamber further comprising a floor that extends from the spiral-shaped bounding wall and the floor slopes inwardly and downwardly toward discharge the outlet and wherein spiral-shaped bounding wall and the floor of the circulation chamber encircles the discharge outlet of the cartridge such that the discharge outlet is at the center of the circulation chamber, the channel further comprising a wall and a curved portion having a floor that extends from the wall, and the floor slopes downwardly toward the circulation chamber, the channel being configured to direct the beverage along the spiral shaped bounding wall as the beverage enters the circulation chamber and wherein the channel enters the circulation chamber tangentially to the spiral shaped bounding wall, so the beverage follows the spiral shape of the spiral-shaped bounding wall around the circulation chamber and wherein,the discharge outlet comprises a discharge spout comprising at least one fin for controlling an outflow direction of the beverage issuing from the cartridge. 20. A cartridge as claimed in claim 19 wherein the at least one fin is tapered. 21. A cartridge as claimed in claim 20 wherein the taper of the at least one fin is such that the distance of a tip or edge of the fin from a root of the fin increases along the length of the fin in the direction of the beverage flow path between inlet and outlet. 22. A cartridge as claimed in claim 20 wherein the taper of the at least one fin is such that it controllably arrests a circulatory motion imparted to the beverage in the circulation chamber prior to the beverage issuing from the cartridge. 23. A cartridge as claimed in claim 19 wherein the at least one fin stops short of traversing the outlet so as to maintain a central opening. 24. A cartridge as claimed in claim 19 wherein the discharge spout has four fins. 25. A cartridge as claimed in claim 19 wherein the discharge spout has six fins. 26. The cartridge as claimed in claim 1 wherein the cartridge comprises one or more beverage ingredients that can produce a beverage comprising crema or foam. 27. The cartridge as claimed in claim 1 wherein the cartridge comprises one or more beverage ingredients that can produce a beverage comprising coffee, chocolate or milk beverage comprising crema or foam. 28. The cartridge as claimed in claim 1 wherein the cartridge is configured to be inserted into a beverage preparation machine. 29. A method of producing a beverage using the cartridge of claim 1 comprising the steps of introducing an aqueous medium into the cartridge through the inlet and; dispensing the beverage from the outlet, wherein the beverage comprises a crema or foam. 30. The cartridge as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a discharge spout having a central axis, wherein the circulation chamber is configured to direct the flow of the beverage rotationally about the central axis of the discharge spout. 31. The cartridge as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a discharge spout and wherein the circulation chamber is configured to direct the beverage flow to descend within the circulation chamber and the discharge spout toward the outlet. 32. The cartridge as claimed in claim 1 wherein the wall of the channel of the eductor has a height, the height of the wall increasing in a direction from the entrance to the exit.
