An auto hammer includes a housing having a grip, a head assembly arranged on one end of the housing, a motor mounted within the housing, a switch arranged on the housing for controlling the motor. The head assembly includes a striking device having a receiving cavity which comprises a locking mechanism. When the receiving cavity is retracted into the housing and locked by pressing the locking pin downwardly, with the striking rod being revealed to increase the visibility of the striking rod. During operation, the objects to be processed, such as tenons and bricks, may be impacted by the striking rod in a linear reciprocating manner, so that the function of the tool can be expanded, without being limited to knocking the fastening pieces into the objects to be processed.

The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein the locking mechanism comprises a locking pin and a locking hole. 3. The auto hammer according to claim 2, wherein the locking pin is mounted on the housing and the locking hole is mounted on the rigid tubular member. 4. The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein the rigid tubular member is made from a transparent material. 5. The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein the head assembly includes a transmission mechanism, the transmission mechanism converts rotating motions of the motor into linear motions of the striking rod. 6. The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein the gravity center of the auto hammer is located at the grip portion. 7. The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein the striking device comprises a striking rod and wherein a distance from a central axis of the striking rod to a top of the head assembly is between 5 mm and 26 mm. 8. The auto hammer according to claim 7, wherein the distance between the central axis of the striking rod and the top of the head assembly is 10.7 mm. 9. The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein a material of the head assembly is different from a material of the housing and wherein the head assembly is adapted to be held by hands during operation. 10. The auto hammer according to claim 9, wherein the material of the head assembly has a hardness that is lower than that of the material of the housing. 11. The auto hammer according to claim 10, wherein the material of the head assembly is TPE and the material of the housing is ABS. 12. The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein a material of the grip portion is different from a material of the housing and wherein the grip portion is adapted to be held by hands during operation. 13. The auto hammer according to claim 12, wherein the material of the grip portion has a hardness that is lower than that of the material of the housing. 14. The auto hammer according to claim 13, wherein the material of the grip portion is TPE and the material of the housing is ABS. 15. The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein the striking device comprises a striking rod and wherein, when the auto hammer is used between two surfaces perpendicular to each other with opposite sides of a top of the housing abutting against the two surfaces, the distance from a central axis of the striking rod to an intersecting line of the two surfaces is between 10 mm and 40 mm. 16. The auto hammer according to claim 15, wherein the distance from the central axis of the striking rod to the intersecting line is 28 mm. 17. The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein the striking device comprises a striking rod and wherein the auto hammer includes an impact wheel, and a distance from an end surface of a striking end of the striking rod to a center of the impact wheel is between 40 mm to 100 mm. 18. The auto hammer according to claim 17, wherein the distance from the end surface of the striking end of the striking rod to the center of the impact wheel is 70 mm. 19. The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein a distance between opposite sides of an upper portion of the housing is between 50 mm to 80 mm. 20. The auto hammer according to claim 19, wherein the distance between opposite sides of the upper portion of the housing is 66 mm. 21. The auto hammer according to claim 1, wherein the auto hammer further includes a light source. 22. The auto hammer according to claim 21, wherein the light source is a LED.
