The blank further includes a reinforcing panel assembly extending from a first side edge of a first end panel of the two end panels. A blank in accordance with claim 1, wherein the reinforcing panel assembly further comprises: the outer corner panel extending from the first side edge of the first end panel;the outer reinforcing side panel extending from a side edge of the outer corner panel;the inner reinforcing side panel extending from a side edge of the outer reinforcing side panel; andthe first inner reinforcing corner panel extending from a side edge of the inner reinforcing side panel, the inner reinforcing end panel extending from a side edge of the inner reinforcing corner panel. 3. A blank in accordance with claim 1 wherein the at least one top panel comprises: a first top panel extending from a top edge of a first end panel of the two end panels; anda second top panel extending from a top edge of a second end panel of the two end panels. 4. A blank in accordance with claim 3, further comprising a minor stacking extension, extending from a top edge of the inner end panel, and configured to align with a respective major stacking extension to form a stacking tab, wherein at least one top panel comprises at least one locking slot configured to receive the stacking tab therethrough. 5. A blank in accordance with claim 3, further comprising a minor stacking extension, extending from a top edge of the inner end panel, and configured to align with a respective major stacking extension to form a stacking tab, wherein the first top panel and the second top panel each include at least one locking assembly for facilitating locking the top panels in a closed position, wherein each locking assembly includes a locking slot and a rotatable locking panel, wherein the locking slot is configured to receive the stacking tab therethrough, and the rotatable locking panel is configured to engage the stacking tab. 6. A blank in accordance with claim 1 further comprising a plurality of corresponding pairs of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies, wherein each end panel comprises one corresponding pair of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies of the plurality of reinforcing panel assemblies extending from each of opposing side edges of each end panel. 7. A blank in accordance with claim 1, wherein each side panel comprises two free side edges. 8. A blank in accordance with claim 1 further comprising: a second outer corner panel extending from an opposing second side edge of the first end panel;a third outer corner panel extending from a first side edge of a second end panel of the two end panels; anda fourth outer corner panel extending from an opposing second side edge of the second end panel. 9. A polygonal container formed from a blank of sheet material, said container comprising: a bottom wall that includes at least one bottom wall angled edge;two opposing side walls, each side wall emanating from a side edge of the bottom wall;two opposing end walls, each end wall emanating from an end edge of the bottom wall;at least one top panel extending from a top edge of one of the two side walls, wherein the at least one top panel includes at least one top panel angled edge, such that upon articulation of the at least one top panel to an orientation substantially parallel to the bottom wall, the at least one top panel angled edge substantially aligns with the at least one bottom wall angled edge;at least one stacking tab extending from a top edge of at least one end wall of the two end walls; andat least a first corner wall assembly comprising first inner and first outer reinforcing panel assemblies, wherein the first outer reinforcing panel assembly includes a first outer corner panel and a first outer reinforcing side panel, the first outer corner panel having a first height, and the first inner reinforcing panel assembly includes a first inner reinforcing side panel, a first inner reinforcing corner panel having a second height that is substantially equal to the first height, and a first inner reinforcing end panel, wherein the first outer corner panel has a width substantially equal to a width of the first inner reinforcing corner panel and the first outer reinforcing side panel has a width substantially equal to a width of the first inner reinforcing side panel;the respective first outer corner and first inner reinforcing corner panels overlying one another in juxtaposed face-to-face relation to form a first corner wall, the respective first outer and first inner reinforcing side panels overlying one another in juxtaposed face-to-face relation to form a first reinforcing side wall overlying an inner surface of a first of the two opposing side walls, and the first inner reinforcing end panel overlying and in juxtaposed face-to-face relation to one of the two opposing end panels to provide the container with corresponding outer and inner octagonal configurations. 10. A polygonal container in accordance with claim 9 wherein the at least one top panel comprises: a first top panel extending from a first side wall of the two side walls; anda second top panel extending from a second side wall of the two side walls. 11. A polygonal container in accordance with claim 10, wherein the top panel comprises at least one locking slot defined therein, the at least one locking slot configured to receive the at least one stacking tab therethrough. 12. A polygonal container in accordance with claim 10, wherein the first top panel and the second top panel each include at least one locking assembly for facilitating locking the top panels in a closed position, wherein each locking assembly includes a locking slot and a rotatable locking panel, wherein the locking slot is configured to receive the stacking tab therethrough, and the rotatable locking panel is configured to engage the stacking tab. 13. A polygonal container in accordance with claim 9 further comprising at least one stacking slot defined in a bottom edge of at least one end wall of the two end walls, the at least one stacking slot having a shape corresponding to a shape of the at least one stacking tab. 14. A polygonal container in accordance with claim 9, further comprising: a second corner wall assembly extending between the first end wall and a second side wall of the two side walls, the second corner wall formed from second outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies;a third corner wall assembly extending between the second side wall and a second end wall of the two end walls, the third corner wall formed from third outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies; anda fourth corner wall assembly extending between the first side wall and the second end wall, the fourth corner wall formed from fourth outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies. 15. A method for forming a polygonal container from a blank of sheet material, the method comprising: providing a blank including a bottom panel that includes at least one bottom panel angled edge, two opposing side panels each extending from a side edge of the bottom panel, two opposing end panels each extending from an end edge of the bottom panel, at least one top panel extending from a top edge of one of the two side panels wherein the at least one top panel includes at least one top panel angled edge, such that upon articulation of the blank, the at least one top panel angled edge substantially aligns with the at least one bottom panel angled edge, and outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies extending from a first side edge of a first end panel of the two end panels, wherein the outer reinforcing panel assembly includes an outer corner panel extending from the first side edge of the first end panel, and an outer reinforcing side panel extending from a side edge of the outer corner panel, the outer corner panel having a first height, and the inner reinforcing panel assembly includes an inner reinforcing side panel extending from a side edge of the outer reinforcing side panel, an inner reinforcing corner panel extending from a side edge of the inner reinforcing side panel, and an inner reinforcing end panel extending from a side edge of the inner reinforcing corner panel, the inner reinforcing corner panel having a second height that is substantially equal to the first height, wherein the outer corner panel has a width substantially equal to a width of the inner reinforcing corner panel and the outer reinforcing side panel has a width substantially equal to a width of the inner reinforcing side panel, and wherein a minor stacking extension extends from a top edge of the inner end panel and a major stacking extension extends from a top edge of the first end panel;rotating the inner reinforcing side panel toward an interior surface of the outer reinforcing side panel about a fold line connecting the inner reinforcing side panel and the outer reinforcing side panel, wherein said rotating aligns the outer and inner reinforcing side panels in a substantially face-to-face relationship, the outer corner and inner reinforcing corner panels in a substantially face-to-face relationship, and the inner reinforcing end panel and the first end panel in a substantially face-to-face relationship, andsaid rotating aligns the minor stacking extension and the major stacking extension in a substantially face-to-face relationship to form a stacking tab;rotating the outer and inner reinforcing side panels toward an interior surface of the first side panel about a fold line connecting the inner reinforcing side panel and the inner reinforcing corner panel and about a fold line connecting the outer reinforcing side panel and the outer corner panel;rotating the outer corner panel and the inner reinforcing corner panel toward the interior surface of the first end panel about a fold line connecting the inner reinforcing corner panel and the inner reinforcing end panel and about a fold line connecting the outer corner panel and the first end panel; androtating the first end panel inward into a substantially perpendicular relationship with the bottom panel about a fold line connecting the first end panel and the bottom panel, the first end panel and inner reinforcing end panel forming a first end wall of the polygonal container and the outer corner panel and the inner reinforcing corner panel forming a first corner wall of the polygonal container, the polygonal container having corresponding outer and inner polygonal configurations. 16. A method in accordance with claim 15, wherein the at least one top panel comprises a first top panel extending from a top edge of a first side panel of the two side panels, the first top panel including at least one locking slot defined therein, said method further comprising: rotating the first top panel toward an interior surface of the first side panel about a fold line connecting the first top panel and the first side panel; andinserting the stacking tab through the at least one locking slot, the stacking tab securing the first top panel in position within respect to the first side panel, the first top panel forming at least a portion of a top wall of the polygonal container. 17. A method in accordance with claim 16, wherein the first top panel includes at least one locking assembly, the at least one locking assembly including a locking slot and a rotatable locking panel, said method further comprising: rotating the first top panel toward an interior surface of the first side panel about a fold line connecting the first top panel and the first side panel;rotating the locking panel downwardly to a position substantially perpendicular to the first top panel;inserting the stacking tab through the locking slot, the stacking tab securing the first top panel in position within respect to the first side panel, the first top panel forming at least a portion of a top wall of the polygonal container. 18. A method in accordance with claim 15 further comprising: rotating a first side panel of the two side panels inwardly into a substantially perpendicular relationship with the bottom panel; andattaching an interior surface of the first side panel to an exterior surface of the inner reinforcing side panel, the first side panel and the outer and inner reinforcing side panels forming a first side wall of the polygonal container. 19. A method in accordance with claim 15, wherein the outer corner panel extends from a side edge of a first side panel of the two side panels, said method further comprising: rotating the outer corner panel toward the interior surface of the first side panel about a fold line connecting the outer corner panel and the first side panel; andattaching an interior surface of the outer corner panel to an exterior surface of the inner reinforcing corner panel. 20. A method in accordance with claim 15, wherein the blank includes a plurality of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies, wherein each end panel includes a corresponding pair of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies of the plurality of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies extending from opposing side edges thereof, said method further comprising: rotating an outer corner panel, an outer reinforcing side panel, an inner reinforcing side panel, an inner reinforcing corner panel, and an inner reinforcing end panel of a first pair of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies of the plurality of pairs of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies about a plurality of fold lines to form the first corner wall;rotating an outer corner panel, an outer reinforcing side panel, an inner reinforcing side panel, an inner reinforcing corner panel, and an inner reinforcing end panel of a second pair of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies of the plurality of pairs of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies about a plurality of fold lines to form the second corner wall;rotating an outer corner panel, an outer reinforcing side panel, an inner reinforcing side panel, an inner reinforcing corner panel, and an inner reinforcing end panel of a third pair of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies of the plurality of pairs of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies about a plurality of fold lines to form the third corner wall; androtating an outer corner panel, an outer reinforcing side panel, an inner reinforcing side panel, an inner reinforcing corner panel, and an inner reinforcing end panel of a fourth pair of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies of the plurality of pairs of outer and inner reinforcing panel assemblies about a plurality of fold lines to form the fourth corner wall.
