1. A tray assembly comprising: a cushion in combination with a tray, said tray defining a bottom, a pair of sides and a pair of ends, said pair of sides and said pair of ends attached to said bottom, each of said sides defining opposing open and closed ends, said sides each defining a channel, each of said channels shorter than said sides, a series of exchangeable tops, each of said tops slidably contained within said channels, each of said tops extending beyond said open end from one of said sides to the other of said sides when fully inserted in said channels, a divider, said divider attached between said pair of sides and below said channels, said tray positioned on said cushion, a first flap, a second flap, said first and second flaps hingedly affixed to said cushion in opposing relation, a means to attach said first and second flaps to said tray, said attaching means comprising a hook section, a loop section and a release layer, said hook section engaging said loop section and said release layer joined to said loop section, wherein said tray is releasably positioned on said cushion between said first and second flaps and engaging said attaching means. 2. The tray assembly of claim 1 wherein one of said exchangeable tops defines a plurality of recesses, said plurality of recesses aligned to form a game board, a peg, each of said recesses sized to receive a peg therein. 3. The tray assembly of claim 2 wherein said top further comprises indicia. 4. The tray assembly of claim 3 wherein said indicia comprises a plurality of parallel and perpendicular lines. 5. The tray assembly of claim 4 wherein said plurality of recesses and said plurality of parallel and perpendicular lines form a tic-tac-toe game board. 6. A rectangular tray assembly comprising a cushion in combination with a tray defining a bottom, a pair of sides, a pair of ends, said pair of sides and said pair of ends attached to said bottom, each of said sides defining opposing open and closed ends, said pair of sides each defining a channel, each of said sides longer than said channels, a series of exchangeable tops, each of said tops defining a planar member, and at least one of said tops comprising a plurality of recesses, said plurality of recesses aligned with a plurality of parallel and perpendicular lines to form a tic-tac-toe game board, a plurality of pegs, each of said recesses sized to receive a peg therein, said tops slideably mounted in said channels and longer than each of said sides, said tops extending beyond said open end from one of said sides to the other of said sides when fully inserted in said channels, a divider, said divider extending across said bottom and attached laterally to said pair of sides below said top defining a pair of compartments, a cushion, said bottom of said tray positioned on said cushion, a zipper track, a zipper pull, said zipper track and said zipper pull engaging one another and positioned on said cushion, a first flap, a second flap, said first and second flaps hingedly attached to said cushion in opposing relation, a pair of means to attach said first and second flaps to said tray, said attaching means comprising a pair of hook sections, a pair of loop sections, and a pair of release layers, said hook sections engaging said loop sections and said release layers joined to said loop sections. 7. A method of practicing physical and mental skills comprising the steps of: a) providing a tray assembly with sides defining a closed end and an opposing open end for receiving a series of exchangeable tops which slide into channels along the tray sides, said tops longer than said sides and extending beyond said channels;b) selecting a top for a specific skill for sliding in the side channels;c) inserting the selected top into the side channels via the open end such that the tops extend beyond the open end from one of the sides to the other of the sides when fully inserted in the channels;d) manually practicing the skills commensurate with the selected top; and e) releasably positioning the tray assembly atop a cushion by providing a first flap, a second flap, said first and second flaps hingedly attached to said cushion in opposing relation, a means to attach said first and second flaps to said tray assembly, said attaching means comprising a hook section, a loop section and a release layer, said hook section engaging said loop section and said release layer joined to said loop section. 8. The method of claim 7 wherein selecting a top comprises the steps of: a) selecting a top comprising indicia, the top defining a plurality of recesses; andb) engaging in a game of tic-tac-toe. 9.
