A regulation valve according to claim 1, wherein the distal end of the stop element comprises a threaded section, the passage comprising an unthreaded proximal section and a threaded distal section, the stop element being in the first position when the threaded section of the stop element is threaded through the threaded distal section of the passage. 4. A regulation valve according to claim 3, wherein the unthreaded proximal section of the passage has a length sufficient to prevent the proximal end of the stop element from protruding from the housing when the stop element is in the second position. 5. A regulation valve according to claim 1, wherein the valve body comprises a main body and a cover, the housing being a part of the cover. 6. A gas cooking appliance according to claim 8, wherein the unthreaded proximal section of the passage has a length sufficient to prevent the proximal end of the stop element from protruding from the housing when the stop element is in the second position. 10.
