1. An apparatus, comprising: an appliance having an outer surface and including a number of individual tooth apertures for placement over one or more teeth; anda release agent receptacle provided on the outer surface of one of the number of individual tooth apertures and having a perimeter smaller than a perimeter of the outer surface of the one of the number of individual tooth apertures, the release agent receptacle including: an outer portion provided on the outer surface of the appliance, wherein the outer portion includes a shape adapted to fit against the outer surface of the appliance;an inner portion encapsulated within the outer portion; andone or more apertures formed in the outer portion distal to the perimeter of the release agent receptacle, wherein the inner portion and an outer surface of the outer portion are in fluid communication by only the one or more apertures. 2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the outer portion is provided by a material selected from at least one of the group of materials including: a polymer material and a curable material. 3. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the outer portion is provided by a material selected from at least one of the group of materials including: an ultra violet-curable acrylic material, an epoxy material, a urethane material, a rubber material, an ethylene vinyl acetate material, an elastomer material, a plastic material, and a silicone material. 4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the inner portion is utilized as an active portion of the release agent receptacle, wherein the inner portion has an active ingredient. 5. The apparatus of claim 4, wherein the active ingredient is selected from the group of materials including a dye material and a pigment material. 6. The apparatus of claim 4, wherein the active ingredient is embedded in a polymer. 7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein a characteristic of the one or more apertures is determined based upon at least one release characteristic of the active ingredient. 8. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein an active ingredient is embedded in a material in which a rate at which the active ingredient is released is controlled by the type of material that the active ingredient is embedded in. 9. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the one or more apertures are provided through the outer portion. 10. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the one or more are provided through some or all of the inner portion. 11. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the one or more apertures are provided into the outer portion that is proximate to the appliance surface. 12. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the one or more apertures is formed during the formation of other portions of the appliance. 13. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the active ingredient is suitable for use in at least one of oral indication, diagnosis, or treatment of a patient. 14. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the release agent receptacle is provided to the appliance by forming with the appliance, integrally bonded to the surface of the appliance, adhering the release agent receptacle to the surface of the appliance, or non-integrally bonding the release agent receptacle to the surface of the appliance. 15. A system, comprising: an appliance having an outer surface and including a number of individual tooth apertures for placement over one or more teeth; andtwo or more release agent receptacles each provided on the outer surface of one of the number of individual tooth apertures and having a perimeter smaller than a perimeter of the outer surface of the one of the number of individual tooth apertures, each release agent receptacle including: an outer portion provided on a surface of the appliance, wherein the outer portion includes a shape adapted to fit against the outer surface of the appliance;an inner portion encapsulated within the outer portion; andone or more apertures formed in the outer portion distal to the perimeter of the release agent receptacle, wherein the inner portion and an outer surface of the outer portion are in fluid communication by only the one or more apertures. 16. The system of claim 15, wherein one or more of the release agent receptacles provides its indication by demonstrating a change in at least one characteristic of an active ingredient provided as part of the inner portion. 17. The system of claim 16, wherein the changed characteristic is selected from the group of characteristics including a color, a shape, and a size of the inner portion. 18. The system of claim 16, where the change in a characteristic is provided by interaction of the active ingredient and at least one of moisture, temperature, a chemical, and a biological agent. 19. The system of claim 16, where the change in characteristic occurs due to a reaction between an active ingredient and one or more oral fluids.
