The remote control of claim 1 wherein: the adjustable bed facility receives feedback from a plurality of bed segments in response to the control signals; andthe adjustable bed facility causes movement of the plurality of bed segments. 3. The remote control of claim 1, wherein transmitting control signals from the adjustable bed handheld remote control to the adjustable bed facility is via WiFi communication. 4. The remote control of claim 1, wherein transmitting control signals from the adjustable bed handheld remote control to the adjustable bed facility is via Bluetooth communication. 5. The remote control of claim 1, wherein transmitting control signals from the adjustable bed handheld remote control to the adjustable bed facility is via Internet communication. 6. The remote control of claim 1, wherein the touch screen user interface is further adapted to: facilitate the user in adjusting a home control system parameter; anddisplay a graphical representation of the home control system parameter. 7. The remote control of claim 6, wherein the graphical representation comprises: a graphical representation indicating a current status of home control parameters from a home control system. 8. The adjustable bed handheld remote control of claim 1 wherein the currently installed modular device comprises: a modular controller. 9.
