An oral-nasal cannula configured for simultaneous, essentially interference-free carbon dioxide (CO2) sampling and flow measurement of oral and nasal breath, the cannula comprising: a main body portion comprising: two nasal prongs for directing nasal breath for CO2 sampling (NCO2);a third nasal prong for directing nasal breath for flow measurement (NF);an oral scoop for directing oral breath for both oral flow measurement (OF) and oral CO2 sampling (OCO2);a first junction formed within said main body portion, above said oral scoop, said first junction configured to join said OCO2 obtained from said scoop with said NCO2 obtained from said two nasal prongs;a breath collection bore configured to receive said NCO2 and OCO2 from said first junction; anda second junction formed outside said main body portion and configured to join said OF with said NFso as to essentially prevent fluid flow connection between said NF and said OF within said main body portion. 2. The cannula of claim 1, further comprising an oral exit port exiting from said oral scoop at an upper end of said scoop. 3. The cannula of claim 1, further comprising an oxygen delivery outlet. 4. The cannula of claim 1, wherein said second junction is further configured to join said first junction is further configured to join said OCO2 and said NCO2 with said OF. 5. An oral-nasal cannula configured for simultaneous, essentially interference-free carbon dioxide (CO2) sampling and flow measurement of oral and nasal breath, the cannula comprising: a main body portion comprising: an oral scoop for directing oral breath for CO2 sampling (OCO2) and flow measurement (OF);two nasal prongs for directing nasal breath for CO2 sampling (NCO2);a third nasal prong for directing nasal breath for flow measurement (NF);a first junction formed within said main body portion, above said oral scoop, said first junction configured to join said OCO2, said OF and said NCO2; anda second junction formed outside said main body portion and configured to join said OF with said NF so as to essentially prevent fluid flow connection between said NF and said and said OF within said main body portion. 6. The oral-nasal cannula of claim 5, wherein interference-free carbon dioxide (CO2) sampling and flow measurement is achieved by virtue of early separation of exhaled nasal breath for CO2 sampling and exhaled nasal breath for flow measurement. 7. The oral-nasal cannula of claim 5, wherein interference-free carbon dioxide (CO2) sampling and flow measurement is achieved by virtue of early separation of exhaled oral breath for CO2 sampling and exhaled oral breath for flow measurement. 8. The oral-nasal cannula of claim 5, further comprising an oxygen outlet being in fluid segregation from said CO2 sampling and said breath flow measurement, such that interference to said CO2 sampling sub-system and said breath flow measurement sub-system is essentially prevented. 9. A method for sampling carbon dioxide (CO2) and measuring breath flow, essentially without cross-interference, the method comprising: directing nasal breath for CO2 sampling (NCO2) obtained from two nasal prongs;directing oral breath for CO2 sampling (OCO2) obtained from an oral scoop, wherein said OCO2 is joined with said NCO2 at a junction formed within said main body portion, above said oral scoopdirecting nasal breath for breath flow measurement (NF) from a third nasal prong; anddirecting oral breath for flow measurement (OF) from said oral scoop, wherein said OF from said oral scoop is joined with said NF from said third prong at a second junction outside said main body portion, so as to essentially prevent fluid flow connection between said NF and said OF within said main body portion. 10. The method of claim 9, further comprising CO2 analysis by a capnograph, and breath flow measurement by a flow meter. 11. The method of claim 10, wherein the CO2 analysis and the breath flow measurement are being conducted simultaneously.
