The power tool according to claim 1, wherein the sealing element is asymmetrical with respect to all planes perpendicular to the axis. 8. The power tool according to claim 1, wherein in the extended position of the swivelable sealing element, a flow channel through the valve device has a cross-sectional area which is less than one hundredth of an effective cross-sectional area of the second pneumatic chamber. 11. The power tool according to claim 10, wherein the cross-sectional area is formed in the sealing element by boreholes, notches and/or grooves running along the axis. 12. The power tool according to claim 1, wherein the valve device is in contact with the striker and the guide tube when the striker is in a rearward-most position.
