The cover of claim 1, wherein the cover comprises a rubber material. 3. The cover of claim 1, wherein the plurality of spaced apart grooves are each parallel to one another. 4. The cover of claim 1, wherein the plurality of grooves are located adjacent to the first shoulder. 5. The cover of claim 1, wherein the plurality of grooves are configured to form a plurality of moisture reservoirs. 6. The cover of claim 1, wherein the first region is configured to fit the signal carrying cable. 7. The cover of claim 1, wherein the first region is configured to fit around the signal carrying cable. 8. The cover of claim 1, wherein the first region is configured to encircle the signal carrying cable. 9. The cover of claim 1, wherein the first region is configured to form a first cover seal portion, the second region is configured to form a second cover seal portion different from the first cover seal portion, and the third region is configured to form a third cover seal portion different from the first and second cover seal portions such that the cover forms a plurality of cover seal portions. 10. The cover of claim 1, wherein the third region forms a seal portion between an interior cover surface of the third region and a component of the connector. 11. The cover of claim 1, wherein the second region is configured to fit the portion of the first connector diameter region. 12. The cover of claim 1, wherein the second region is configured to fit around the portion of the first connector diameter region. 13. The cover of claim 1, wherein the second region is configured to encircle the portion of the first connector diameter region. 14. The cover of claim 1, wherein the portion of the first connector diameter region comprises an outward facing surface of the first connector diameter region. 15. The cover of claim 1, wherein the portion of the first connector diameter region comprises a circumferential surface of the first connector diameter region. 16. A cover for a connector configured to connect a cable to a shank, the connector including a first connector diameter region and a second connector diameter region greater than the first connector diameter region, the cover comprising: a unitary cover body member having a first cover end, a second cover end, and an interior cover surface;wherein the unitary cover body member is configured to extend along a longitudinal axis; andwherein the interior cover surface of the unitary cover body member includes: a first cover region configured to encircle a portion of the cable and to extend from the first cover end to a first shoulder, the first cover region having a first cross-sectional diameter and a plurality of spaced apart, moisture inhibiting grooves located adjacent to the first shoulder;a second cover region configured to encircle a portion of the first connector diameter region and extend from the first shoulder to a second shoulder, the second region having a second cross-sectional diameter that is greater than the first cross-sectional diameter; anda third cover region configured to extend from the second shoulder to the second cover end, part of the third cover region configured to encircle a portion of the shank, the third cover region having a third cross-sectional diameter that is different from the second cross-sectional diameter. 32. The cover of claim 31, wherein the cover comprises a rubber material. 33.
