The system according to claim 1, wherein the at least one social network ranking factor comprises a social network credibility. 3. The system according to claim 1, wherein the at least one social network ranking factor comprises a social network popularity. 4. The system of claim 1, wherein the social-network-records comprise user reviews of a plurality of restaurants, the social network ranking factor comprising user review ratings of respective restaurants, the communication port being further configured to output at least a portion of the user reviews of the plurality of restaurants dependent on the respective user review ratings and a geographical distance of the restaurants from the user. 5. The system according to claim 1, further comprising outputting the mined information based on a chronological order. 6. The system according to claim 1, further comprising outputting the mined information based on a type of social information within a respective social network record. 7. The system according to claim 1, further comprising ranking the mined information based on criteria comprising a physical distance from the location. 8. The system according to claim 1, where the communication port is further configured to communicate the social-network information within a location mapping user interface platform. 9. The system according to claim 1, where the communication port is further configured to communicate the social-network information within Google maps. 10. A computer-implemented method for presenting social-network-provided information records from a social network database comprising a plurality of social network-provided information records to a mobile-electronic-device user in response to the user's spoken request, comprising: receiving speech information from the mobile-electronic-device user;storing the transcript of the spoken request and metadata associated with the spoken request comprising at least a location associated with the user during the spoken request;automatically selecting a plurality of social-network-provided information records with at least one automated processor, by searching the social-network for information records using both the location and the transcript;ranking the plurality of selected social network-provided information records with the at least one automated processor, dependent on at least one social network ranking factor andcommunicating at least a portion of the selected social-network-provided information records to the user in a manner dependent on the at least one social network ranking factor. 11. The method according to claim 10, wherein said ranking comprises ranking a plurality of the selected social network information records on criteria comprising a physical distance from the mobile-electronic-device user's location. 12. The method according to claim 10, wherein the at least one social network ranking factor comprises at least one of reverse chronological order, social network credibility, social network popularity, and type of social information, and said communicating comprises outputting. 13. The method according to claim 10, further comprising presenting the at least one of the selected social network provided records on a location mapping user interface platform. 14. The method according to claim 10, further comprising presenting the at least one of the selected social network provided records on Google maps. 15. The method according to claim 10, wherein the social-network-provided information records comprise user review ratings of a plurality of restaurants, and said communicating comprises outputting the user reviews of the plurality of restaurants ranked based on at least the distance from the user and the user review ratings. 16. A computer-implemented method of mining information from a social network database, comprising: receiving user-generated speech and a location associated with the user-generated speech;automatically transcribing the speech into a transcript with at least one automated processor, and associating the location with the transcript as metadata;automatically generating a query of a social information search engine comprising user ratings of places to identify a plurality of social network records corresponding to the query with the at least one automated processor;automatically ranking the plurality of social network records corresponding to the query, with the at least one automated processor, according to at least one social network ranking factor comprising at least a physical distance from the location and a factor dependent on the user ratings with the at least one automated processor; andoutputting at least a portion of the ranked plurality of records in a manner dependent on the at least one social network ranking factor. 17. The method according to claim 16, wherein the plurality of records are further automatically ranked by the at least one automated processor in dependence on the at least one social network ranking factor selected from the group consisting of a social network credibility and a social network popularity. 18. The method according to claim 16, further comprising outputting the ranked plurality of records within a spatial mapping user interface. 19. The method according to claim 18, further automatically searching a set of persistently stored transcripts and associated metadata with the at least one automated processor.
