An arrangement, comprising an internal combustion engine,a laser ignition plug, having a pumped light source arranged in the laser ignition plug,wherein the laser ignition plug is releasably attached in the cylinder header of the internal combustion engine,wherein the laser ignition plug has a cooling air inlet, a cooling air outlet and a cooling region connecting the cooling air inlet with the cooling air outlet,wherein the cooling region is surrounding the pump light source at least in certain sectors and wherein the cooling air inlet of the laser ignition plug is connected with a compression device. 7. The arrangement according to claim 6, wherein cooling air outlet of the laser ignition plug is open in the flow direction. 8. The arrangement according to claim 6, wherein the compression device is arranged downstream of a temperature controlling device. 9. The arrangement according to claim 6, wherein there is provided a charge air cooler for the charge air of the internal combustion engine, wherein the temperature controlling device is connected with the charge air cooler. 10. The arrangement according to claim 6, wherein there are provided several laser ignition plugs, wherein there is provided a common compressor device for at least two laser ignition plugs. 11. A method for operating an internal combustion engine, wherein a laser ignition plug, which has a pumped light source and a laser resonator pumped by the pumped light source, ignites a fuel/air mixture in a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine, wherein the laser ignition plug is cooled using air, wherein air having a positive pressure of at least 0.1 bar is fed to each laser ignition plug.
