A conveying chain according to claim 1, wherein the conveying chain has exactly two embodiment types of identically shaped chain links, which are not constructionally identical with regard to the material, and wherein chain links of different embodiment types are arranged in the conveying chain in an alternating manner. 13. A conveying chain according to claim 11, wherein the materials of the embodiments of chain links which are not constructionally identical with respect to material have different friction properties or different friction coefficients. 14.
