1. A method for applying labels to a cable or conduit with a known circumference, the method comprising: supplying at least one label, wherein the at least one label has a known label height, the label height is greater than the known circumference of the cable or conduit, and the label has a bottom, middle, and top portions;providing at least one tamping device, wherein the at least one tamping device includes a tamping pad;tamping the middle portion of the at least one label to the cable or conduit with the at least one tamping device, wherein the middle portion of the at least one label adheres to the cable or conduit;providing a guide shoe assembly, wherein the step of providing a guide shoe assembly further comprises: providing at least one guide shoe mounted at a level that is horizontal and substantially even with the cable or conduit;providing a rounding member;providing a plurality of springs for providing flexibility to the rounding member when the cable or conduit passes the at least one guide shoe;providing a support mount for supporting the at least one guide shoe;providing a plurality of pivots disposed between the rounding member and the rounding member support for adjusting a set of springs; andproviding a fitted member for providing an anchor for the at least one guide shoe to connect with the support mount;pressing the top portion of the at least one label against the cable or conduit with the guide shoe assembly;pressing the bottom portion of the at least one label against the cable or conduit with the guide shoe assembly, wherein the top portion of the at least one label and the bottom portion of the at least one label overlap after pressed onto the cable or conduit. 2. The method of claim 1 further comprising the step of: heating the at least one label pressed onto the cable or conduit to firmly affix the at least one label to the cable or conduit. 3. The method of claim 2, wherein the step of heating the at least one label pressed onto the cable or conduit further comprises heating an at least one shrink-wrap label. 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of providing at least one tamping device further comprises providing at least one tamping device incorporating interchangeable tamping pads. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of tamping the middle portion of the at least one label to the cable or conduit further comprises tamping the middle portion of the at least one label with an adhesive to the cable or conduit. 6. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of supplying at least one label further comprises supplying two labels, wherein the two labels contain different information. 7. The method of claim 6, wherein the step of supplying at least one label further comprises supplying two labels, wherein the two labels are alternatively ordered. 8. A method for applying labels to a cable or conduit, the method comprising: supplying at least one label wherein the at least one label has bottom, middle, and top portions;guiding a cable or conduit with at least one guide roller;providing a label applicator for applying the at least one label to the cable or conduit;guiding a cable or conduit using the at least one guide roller;providing at least one tamping device;providing a tamping pad with the at least one tamping device;applying at least one label to the cable or conduit with the at least one tamping device, wherein the middle portion of the at least one label contacts with the cable or conduit;providing a first guide shoe assembly;pressing the bottom portion of the at least one label against the cable or conduit using the first guide shoe assembly;providing a second guide shoe assembly; andpressing the top portion of the at least one label against the cable or conduit using the second guide shoe assembly, wherein the top portion of the pressed label is in contact with the bottom portion of the pressed label;wherein the first and second guide shoe assemblies further comprise the steps of: providing at least one guide shoe mounted at a level that is horizontal and substantially even with the cable or conduit;providing a rounding member;providing a plurality of springs for providing flexibility to the rounding member when the cable or conduit passes the at least one guide shoe;providing a support mount for supporting the at least one guide shoe;providing a plurality of pivots disposed between the rounding member and the rounding member support for adjusting a set of springs; andproviding a fitted member for providing an anchor for the at least one guide shoe to connect with the support mount. 9. The method of claim 8, wherein applying the at least one label to the cable or conduit with the at least one tamping device comprises: feeding the at least one label from at least one roller onto a surface of at least one tamping pad of the at least one tamping device;driving the at least one tamping pad onto the cable or conduit; anddirecting the cable or conduit to the least one guide shoe. 10. The method of claim 8 further comprising providing an encoding device for regulating frequency of applying the at least one label by the at least one tamping device, wherein the encoding device is an encoding wheel or an automatic encoding device. 11. The method of claim 10, wherein the step of providing an encoding device for regulating frequency of applying the at least one label by the at least one tamping device includes providing an encoding devices for regulating the frequency of applying at least two different labels. 12. The method of claim 8, further comprising: providing a first label roller for feeding a first label of the at least one label into the at least one tamping device; andproviding a second label roller for feeding a second label of the at least one label into the at least one tamping device. 13. A method for applying labels to a cable or conduit with a known circumference, the method comprising: supplying at least one label, wherein the at least one label has a known label height, the label height is greater than the known circumference of the cable or conduit, and the label has a bottom, middle, and top portions;providing at least one tamping device, wherein the at least one tamping device includes a tamping pad;tamping the middle portion of the at least one label to the cable or conduit with the at least one tamping device, wherein the middle portion of the at least one label adheres to the cable or conduit;providing a first guide shoe assembly;pressing the top portion of the at least one label against the cable or conduit using the first guide shoe assembly;wherein the first guide shoe assembly further comprises the steps of: providing at least one guide shoe mounted at a level that is horizontal and substantially even with the cable or conduit;providing a rounding member;providing a plurality of springs for providing flexibility to the rounding member when the cable or conduit passes the at least one guide shoe;providing a support mount for supporting the at least one guide shoe;providing a plurality of pivots disposed between the rounding member and the rounding member support for adjusting a set of springs; andproviding a fitted member for providing an anchor for the at least one guide shoe to connect with the support mount;applying heat to the at least one label pressed onto the cable or conduit. 14. The method of claim 13, wherein the step of applying heat to the at least one label pressed onto the cable or conduit further comprises applying heat to a shrink-wrap label. 15. The method of claim 14, wherein the step of heating the shrink-wrap label further comprises conforming the shrink-wrap label to the cable or conduit. 16.
