A repositionable mount and related methods including a method for mounting a bicycle to a bicycle rack The repositionable bicycle fork mount can include a mount for connection to a vehicle to support the bicycle fork, a bicycle fork receiver coupled to the mount, the bicycle fork receiver being configured to receive and secure the bicycle fork, and means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle. Repositioning the mount and/or a bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle can include a forward most position related to a relatively large bicycle and a rearward most position related to the relatively small bicycle such that a rear wheel of both the relatively large bicycle and a rear wheel of the relatively small bicycle are supported by a rear tailgate of the vehicle when attached to the properly positioned repositionable bicycle fork mount.

1. A repositionable bicycle for mount, comprising: a mount slidably connected to a member, the member being connectable to a vehicle to support the bicycle fork, wherein the mount is repositionable relative to the member in order to reposition the bicycle fork mount in a front-to-back position with respect to the vehicle;a fastener for fixing the mount at a position relative to the member;a bicycle fork receiver coupled to the mount, the bicycle fork receiver being configured to receive the secure the bicycle fork;means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle for receiver with respect to the vehicle; andwherein the mount includes mount mating features and the member includes receiving features, wherein the mating features of the mount are received by the receiving features of the member and slidable with respect thereto in order to reposition the bicycle fork mount with regard to the vehicle. 2. A repositionable bicycle fork mount according to claim 1, wherein the mount is slidable with respect to the member to reposition the fork mount at a forward most position, a reward most position, and at least one or more positions there between with respect to the vehicle. 3. A repositionable bicycle fork mount according to claim 1, wherein the mount includes mount mating features and the member includes receiving features, wherein the mating features and receiving features are interlocking and slidable features in order to reposition the bicycle fork mount with regard to the vehicle. 4. A repositionable bicycle fork mount comprising: a mount for connection to a vehicle to support the bicycle fork;a bicycle fork receiver coupled to the mount, the bicycle fork receiver being configured to receive and secure the bicycle fork;means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle, the means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle further comprising a first pivot point for articulating the bicycle fork receiver about the mount; andthe means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle receiver with respect to the vehicle further comprising a second pivot point for articulating the bicycle for receiver about the first pivot point and about the mount. 5. A crossbar including a repositionable bicycle fork mount, comprising: a mount for connection to a vehicle to support the bicycle fork;a bicycle fork receiver coupled to the mount, the bicycle fork receiver being configured to receive and secure the bicycle fork; andmeans for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle, wherein dimensions of the crossbar are defined by a roll cage to which the crossbar is to be attached and a distance to an upper edge of a rear tailgate of the vehicle to which the roll cage is attached, the repositionable bicycle fork mount being repositionably connected to the crossbar. 6. A crossbar according to claim 5, wherein the crossbar is defined by a distance between the side bars of the roll cage to which the crossbar is to be attached thereby defining a distance between at least two mounting brackets of the crossbar designed to attach to the roll cage. 7. A crossbar according to claim 6, wherein the roll cage to which the crossbar is designed to attach includes two opposing side bars extending along opposite sides of the vehicle, the at least two mounting brackets each disposed on an end of a laterally curved end section of the crossbar. 8. A crossbar according to claim 7, wherein each mounting bracket is designed to be attached to the side bars of the roll cage such that the crossbar is elevated off the side bars or a plane extending between the surface of the side bars of the roll cage of the vehicle. 9. A safari bicycle rack, comprising: a bottom safari bicycle rack bar defining at least a portion of a bottom perimeter of the safari bicycle rack;a safari bicycle rack basket portion for supporting articles held therein;a crossbar forming a portion of the bottom safari bicycle rack bar, the crossbar having an elongate longitudinal length section with laterally curved end sections extending from each side of the longitudinal length; andone or more repositionable bicycle fork mount according to claim 1 attached to the crossbar for mounting a bicycle thereto. 10. A method of manufacturing the repositionable bicycle fork mount according to claim 1, comprising: manufacturing the mount;manufacturing the bicycle fork receiver coupled to the mount; andmanufacturing the means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle, wherein the means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle considers a distance from the bicycle fork receiver to an upper edge of a rear tailgate of the vehicle for supporting a rear bicycle tire upon the upper edge of the rear tailgate of the vehicle. 11. A method of manufacturing the repositionable bicycle fork mount according to claim 10, further comprising: manufacturing the means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle, wherein the means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle considers a difference in distance between a front wheel and a rear wheel of different sized bicycles. 12. A method of manufacturing the repositionable bicycle fork mount according to claim 11, further comprising: manufacturing the means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle, wherein the means for repositioning the mount and/or bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle includes a forward most position related to a relatively large bicycle and a rearward most position related to a relatively small bicycle. 13. A method of manufacturing a repositionable bicycle fork mount, comprising manufacturing a bicycle fork repositioning mount, wherein repositioning the mount and/or a bicycle fork receiver with respect to the vehicle includes a forward most position related to a relatively large bicycle and a rearward most position related to the relatively small bicycle such that a rear wheel of both the relatively large bicycle and a rear wheel of the relatively small bicycle are supported by a rear tailgate of the vehicle when attached to the properly positioned repositionable bicycle fork mount. 14. A method of mounting a bicycle to a repositionable bicycle fork mount, comprising: considering a distance from a bicycle fork receiver to an upper edge of a rear tailgate of a vehicle for supporting a rear bicycle tire upon the upper edge of the rear tailgate of the vehicle;reposititioning the bicycle fork receiver based on the consideration of the distance from the bicycle fork receiver to the upper edge of the rear tailgate of the vehicle for supporting the rear bicycle tire upon the upper edge of the rear tailgate of the vehicle; andmounting the bicycle to the repositionable bicycle fork mount. 15. A method of mounting a bicycle to the repositionable bicycle fork mount according to claim 14, further comprising: reconsidering the distance from the bicycle fork receiver to the upper edge of the rear tailgate of the vehicle for supporting a different rear bicycle tire of a smaller bicycle upon the upper edge of the rear tailgate of the vehicle;repositioning the bicycle fork receiver based on the reconsideration of the distance from the bicycle fork receiver to the upper edge of the rear tailgate of the vehicle for supporting the rear bicycle tire of the smaller bicycle upon the upper edge of the rear tailgate of the vehicle; andmounting the smaller bicycle to the repositionable bicycle fork mount.
