The multi-position valve of claim 1, wherein the main housing component has a right-angled configuration with its fluid inlet oriented perpendicular to its fluid outlet. 4. The multi-position valve of claim 1, wherein the multi-position valve has a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet that define flow paths that are parallel to each other and offset from each other. 5. The multi-position valve of claim 1, wherein the base is rotatable about a first axis relative to the main housing component, the inlet housing component is rotatable about a second axis relative to the main housing component, and the first axis is not parallel to the second axis. 6.
