An electronic device with a display, processor(s), and memory displays a video monitoring user interface on the display with a plurality of user interface elements associated one or more recognized activities. The electronic device detects a user input selecting a respective user interface element from the plurality of user interface elements in the video monitoring user interface, the respective user interface element being associated with a respective event category of the one or more recognized event categories. In response to detecting the user input, the electronic device displays an editing user interface for the respective event category on the display with a plurality of animated representations in a first region of the editing user interface, where the plurality of animated representations correspond to a plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the respective event category.

1. A method of editing event categories, the method comprising: at an electronic device having a display:displaying a video monitoring user interface on the display, the video monitoring user interface including one or more recognized event categories, each event category corresponding to one or more motion events classified into the event category based on respective motion vectors of the motion events;detecting a user input selecting an event category of the one or more recognized event categories;in response to detecting the user input, displaying an editing user interface for the selected event category on the display, the editing user interface including a first region having a plurality of animated representations, wherein the plurality of animated representations correspond to a plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the selected event category;detecting one or more subsequent user inputs selecting one or more of the plurality of animated representations included in the first region of the editing user interface;in response to detecting the one or more subsequent user inputs, causing a set of previously captured motion events corresponding to the one or more selected animated representations to be identified for disassociation from the selected event category; andcausing the identified set of previously captured motion events to be disassociated such that subsequent classifications of motion events into the selected event category are based on the motion vectors of the plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the selected event category that have not been disassociated. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the video monitoring user interface includes: (A) a first region including a video feed from a camera located remotely from the electronic device;(B) a second region including an event timeline, wherein the event timeline includes a plurality of event indicators corresponding to motion events, and wherein at least a subset of the plurality of event indicators are associated with the selected event category; and(C) a third region including a list of one or more recognized event categories. 3. The method of claim 2, wherein the list of one or more recognized event categories includes a plurality of user interface elements, wherein each of the plurality of user interface elements corresponds to a respective one of the one or more recognized event categories. 4. The method of claim 3, further comprising: in response to detecting a gesture with respect to a respective event indicator, displaying a respective user interface element corresponding to an event category associated with the respective event indicator. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the editing user interface further includes a second region including a representation of a video feed from a camera located remotely from the electronic device. 6. The method of claim 5, wherein the representation in the second region includes a linear motion vector overlaid on the video feed, wherein the linear motion vector corresponds to a typical motion path for the plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the selected event category. 7. The method of claim 1, wherein the first region of the editing user interface further includes a user interface element for disabling and enabling notifications corresponding to subsequent motion events of the selected event category. 8. The method of claim 1, wherein the first region of the editing user interface further includes a text box for entering a label for the selected event category. 9. The method of claim 1, further comprising: subsequent to causing the identified set of previously captured motion events to be disassociated from the selected event category: displaying again the video monitoring user interface on the display including the one or more recognized event categories;detecting a second user input selecting the event category; andin response to detecting the second user input, displaying the editing user interface for the selected event category on the display with a second plurality of animated representations in the first region of the editing user interface, wherein: the second plurality of animated representations corresponds to a second plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the selected event category;the second plurality of animated representations is different from the plurality of animated representations; andthe second plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the respective event category is different from the plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the selected event category. 10. An electronic device, comprising: a display;one or more processors; andmemory storing one or more programs to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs comprising instructions for: displaying a video monitoring user interface on the display, the video monitoring user interface including one or more recognized event categories, each event category corresponding to one or more motion events classified into the event category based on respective motion vectors of the motion events;detecting a user input selecting an event category of the one or more recognized event categories;in response to detecting the user input, displaying an editing user interface for the selected event category on the display, the editing user interface including a first region having a plurality of animated representations, wherein the plurality of animated representations correspond to a plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the selected event category;detecting one or more subsequent user inputs selecting one or more of the plurality of animated representations included in the first region of the editing user interface;in response to detecting the one or more subsequent user inputs, causing a set of previously captured motion events corresponding to the one or more selected animated representations to be identified for disassociation from the selected event category; andcausing the identified set of previously captured motion events to be disassociated such that subsequent classifications of motion events into the selected event category are based on the motion vectors of the plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the selected event category that have not been disassociated. 11. The electronic device of claim 10, wherein the video monitoring user interface includes: (A) a first region including a video feed from a camera located remotely from the electronic device;(B) a second region including an event timeline, wherein the event timeline includes a plurality of event indicators corresponding to motion events, and wherein at least a subset of the plurality of event indicators are associated with the selected event category; and(C) a third region including a list of one or more recognized event categories. 12. The electronic device of claim 10, wherein the editing user interface further includes a second region including a representation of a video feed from a camera located remotely from the electronic device. 13. The electronic device of claim 12, wherein the representation in the second region includes a linear motion vector overlaid on the video feed, wherein the linear motion vector corresponds to a typical motion path for the plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the selected event category. 14. The electronic device of claim 10, wherein the first region of the editing user interface further includes a user interface element for disabling and enabling notifications corresponding to subsequent motion events of the selected event category. 15. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs, the one or more programs comprising instructions, which, when executed by an electronic device with a display and one or more processors, cause the electronic device to perform operations comprising: displaying a video monitoring user interface on the display, the video monitoring user interface including one or more recognized event categories, each event category corresponding to one or more motion events classified into the event category based on respective motion vectors of the motion events;detecting a user input selecting an event category of the one or more recognized event categories;in response to detecting the user input, displaying an editing user interface for the selected event category on the display, the editing user interface including a first region having a plurality of animated representations, wherein the plurality of animated representations correspond to a plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the selected event category;detecting one or more subsequent user inputs selecting one or more of the plurality of animated representations included in the first region of the editing user interface;in response to detecting the one or more subsequent user inputs, causing a set of previously captured motion events corresponding to the one or more selected animated representations to be identified for disassociation from the selected event category; andcausing the identified set of previously captured motion events to be disassociated such that subsequent classifications of motion events into the selected event category are based on the motion vectors of the plurality of previously captured motion events assigned to the selected event category that have not been disassociated. 16. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the video monitoring user interface includes: (A) a first region including a video feed from a camera located remotely from the electronic device;(B) a second region including an event timeline, wherein the event timeline includes a plurality of event indicators corresponding to motion events, and wherein at least a subset of the plurality of event indicators are associated with the selected event category; and(C) a third region including a list of one or more recognized event categories. 17.
