The holder apparatus of claim 1, wherein: when the gate portion is in the closed configuration and in use, a distal end of the cross-channel member physically engages the portion of the object positioned between the distal end of the cross-channel member and the channel-facing surface of the first sidewall; andthe distal end of the cross-channel member has at least one of a texture or a material that grips the portion of the object positioned between the distal end of the cross-channel member and the channel-facing surface of the first sidewall to hold the object in place. 14. The holder apparatus of claim 1, wherein: the second sidewall comprises a first hinge portion; andthe gate portion comprises a second hinge portion that is complementary to the first hinge portion, the second hinge portion selectively insertable and removable from the first hinge portion. 15.
