The scooter device of claim 1, wherein the pivot axis of each of the first and second rear wheels is inclined with respect to the first and second foot placement platforms. 5. The scooter device of claim 1, further comprising a brake assembly configured to selectively apply a braking force to the front wheel. 6. The scooter device of claim 1, wherein the steering assembly further comprises a steering support member coupled between the steering shaft and the frame structure. 7. The scooter device of claim 6, wherein the frame structure further comprises a longitudinally-disposed support member, and the steering support member is connected to the longitudinally-disposed support member. 8.
