Methods and apparatus for providing a personalized entertainment experience, which may be customized for each user. A user's playback/presentation history and/or user actions may be captured and associated with each played/presented composition. A target time for playback/presentation of a composition to the user may be determined by using a user's playback/presentation history and/or user actions. The target time for playback/presentation may incorporate a target time between playbacks/presentations of a composition, which may be at least partially based on a user's playback/presentation history and/or user actions. A customized sequence of compositions may be automatically generated for each user. The personalized sequence may automatically adapt to changing user actions and preferences over time. In one embodiment, a target time for next playback/presentation may be at least partially based on relationship(s) that is/are at least partially based on prior controls and/or action(s) by the user that are related to the composition.

1. Apparatus for personalized music or entertainment, the apparatus comprising: circuitry to capture user-actions, associated with a music or entertainment composition, applied or made by a user;electronic-circuitry and/or processor(s) that: determine or utilize, a target time for presentation or playback of said composition to said user, that is at least partially based on a relationship(s) that is at least partially based on: a time when said composition was previously played or presented to said user, one or more values for a time between presentations or playbacks of said composition to said user, andone or more said captured user-actions by said user that are associated with said composition;initiate a presentation or playback of said composition to said user, at least partially based on said target time for presentation or playback. 2. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said captured user-actions are captured at a plurality of user-devices. 3. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentation or playback is determined by using a plurality of said captured user-actions that were captured on a plurality of different occasions, when applied or made by the user on said composition. 4. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said electronic-circuitry and/or processor(s) are configured to also: play or present a personalized sequence that includes other compositions; wherein said composition is included in said sequence, at least partially based upon said target time for presentation or playback of said composition. 5. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said electronic-circuitry and/or processor(s) are configured to also: select said composition for presentation or playback as part of a sequence of compositions for said user, at least partially based on said target time for presentation or playback of said composition to said user. 6. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said relationship includes a plurality of different values for said time between presentations or playbacks. 7. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said relationship includes three or more values for said time between presentations or playbacks. 8. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein at least a portion of said relationship includes component(s) that are non-linear components with said user-actions. 9. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein at least a portion of said relationship includes component(s) that are monotonic with said user-actions. 10. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein at least a portion of said relationship includes component(s) that are not monotonic with said user-actions. 11. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein at least a portion of said relationship is defined by curve(s), lookup table(s), database, equation, polynomial, digital differential analyzer, mathematical function or formula. 12. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentation or playback, is at least partially determined by adjusting a prior value of a time between presentations or playbacks, by an amount that varies with one or more said captured user-actions. 13. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentation or playback, is at least partially determined by adjusting a prior value of a time between presentations or playbacks, by an amount that varies with a plurality of said captured user-actions. 14. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks: is made sooner in time by some said captured user-actions, and is made further off in time by other said captured user-actions. 15. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said captured user-actions associated with said composition, are processed in their order of occurrence; wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks: is made sooner in time by some said captured user-actions, and is made further off in time by other said captured user-actions. 16. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentation or playback, is made sooner in time by said captured user-action(s) that find, select or designate, said composition for presentation or playback. 17. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made sooner in time by said captured user-action(s) that search or find said composition. 18. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made sooner in time by said captured user-action(s) that repeat the presentation or playback of said composition. 19. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made sooner in time by said captured user-action(s) that indicate: a thumbs-up, a like, play more frequently, or that increase their rating or preference for said composition. 20. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made sooner in time by said captured user-action(s) which indicate that said user has recommended said composition to another person. 21. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made sooner in time by said captured user-action(s) that imply a favorable preference of said user for said composition. 22. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made sooner in time by said captured user-action(s) that are implicit and imply a favorable preference of said user for said composition. 23. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made further away in time by said captured user-action(s) that skip or forward-past, an ending portion of said composition. 24. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made further away in time by said captured user-action(s) that stopped said composition while being played or presented; and initiated presentation or playback of another composition. 25. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made further away in time by said captured user-action(s) that indicate a thumbs-down, a dis-like, or that decrease their rating or preference for said composition. 26. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made further away in time by said captured user-action(s) that imply a dislike of said user for said composition. 27. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made further away in time by said captured user-action(s) that are implicit and imply a dislike of said user for said composition. 28. Apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said target time for presentations or playbacks, is made further away in time at least partially based on how soon said user applied or made, said captured user-action(s) that avoid said composition. 29. An apparatus-implemented method for personalized music or entertainment, comprising: capturing, by circuitry, user-actions associated with a music or entertainment composition, applied or made by a user;determining or utilizing, by a electronic-circuitry and/or processor(s), a target time for presentation or playback of said composition to said user, that is at least partially based on a relationship(s) that is at least partially based on: a time when said composition was previously played or presented to said user, one or more values for a time between presentations or playbacks of said composition to said user, andone or more said captured user-actions by said user that are associated with said composition;initiating, by a electronic-circuitry and/or processor(s), a presentation or playback of said composition to said user, at least partially based on said target time for presentation or playback. 30. One or more non-transitory computer-readable memories or storage media, not including carrier-waves, having computer-readable instructions stored thereon which, when executed by electronic-circuitry and/or processor(s), implement a method for personalized music or entertainment, the method comprising: capturing, by circuitry, user-actions associated with a music or entertainment composition, applied or made by a user;determining or utilizing, by a electronic-circuitry and/or processor(s), a target time for presentation or playback of said composition to said user, that is at least partially based on a relationship(s) that is at least partially based on: a time when said composition was previously played or presented to said user, one or more values for a time between presentations or playbacks of said composition to said user, andone or more said captured user-actions by said user that are associated with said composition;initiating, by a electronic-circuitry and/or processor(s), a presentation or playback of said composition to said user, at least partially based on said target time for presentation or playback.
