A device comprising: a storage chamber; anda closure including: (i) a base defining an aperture in fluid communication with the storage chamber and including an axially-elongated valve seat; and(ii) a support including: an axially-elongated, elastic valve member;a penetrable and resealable portion;a compressive surface; anda manually-engageable actuator coupled to the compressive surface;wherein the support is engageable with the base to secure the support to the base and form a fluid-tight seal therebetween, and in such position, the elastic valve member is engaged with the valve seat and forms a one-way valve defining a normally-closed, axially-extending valve opening between the elastic valve member and the valve seat, the penetrable and resealable portion is in fluid communication with the storage chamber and is penetrable by an injection member for filling the storage chamber with a fluid, a compression chamber is defined between the support and the compressive surface and is connectable in fluid communication with the storage chamber to receive fluid from the storage chamber, the compressive surface is receivable within the compression chamber, the manually-engageable actuator is coupled to one or more of the compression chamber or the compressive surface, and one or more of the compressive surface or the compression chamber is movable relative to the other by the manually-engageable actuator between a rest position and at least one actuated position for pressurizing fluid within the compression chamber and dispensing fluid through the one-way valve. 2. A device as defined in claim 1, further comprising a seal coupled in fluid communication between the compression chamber and the storage chamber movable between (i) a closed position to seal the compression chamber with respect to the storage chamber during pressurization of fluid in the compression chamber, and (ii) an open position wherein the compression chamber is in fluid communication with the storage chamber to allow fluid to flow from the storage chamber into the compression chamber. 3. A device as defined in claim 2, wherein the base defines an inlet opening in fluid communication between the compression chamber and the storage chamber, and the support includes the seal in register with the inlet opening when the support is secured to the base. 4. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the storage chamber is a variable-volume storage chamber. 5. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the base is configured to sealingly engage an open end of the device and form a fluid tight seal therebetween and thereby close the device. 6. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the support is movable between a first position where the support does not sealingly engage the base and a second position where the support sealingly engages the base. 7. A device as defined in claim 6, further comprising a hinge operably connecting the base and the support and configured to allow the base and the support to move relative to the other between the first position and the second position. 8. A device as defined in claim 7, wherein the hinge comprises one or more of a flexible hinge or a living hinge. 9. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the base and the support are configured such that when the support is secured to the base, the elastic valve member and valve seat are configured (a) to define an interference fit between the elastic valve member and the valve seat, or (b) so that a portion of the elastic valve member is not spaced away from a closed position substantially throughout any period of dispensing to maintain a hermetic seal between an inlet to the valve opening and ambient atmosphere. 10. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the one-way valve substantially prevents the ingress of bacteria and other contaminants through the valve opening in both the normally-closed position and an open position. 11. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the elastic valve member is movable from the normally-closed position to an open position in response to fluid at an inlet to the normally-closed valve opening exceeding a valve opening pressure. 12. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the base includes an inlet in fluid communication with the compression chamber for receiving fluid from the storage chamber into the compression chamber, and the support includes a seal configured such that when the support is secured to the base (1) during said relative movement of the compressive surface and the compression chamber, the seal is in register with the inlet so as to seal the compression chamber during pressurization of fluid therewithin, and (2) the seal is sufficiently displaceable from the inlet so fluid is receivable into the compression chamber. 13. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the support includes a flexible member defining on one side thereof the manually-engageable actuator, and defining on another side thereof the compressive surface. 14. A device as defined in claim 13, wherein the flexible member is substantially dome shaped, and the compression chamber is defined by a space between the flexible member and the support. 15. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the valve seat and the elastic valve member define an interference fit therebetween. 16. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the elastic valve member and the valve seat define an interference fit therebetween, and the degree of interference decreases when moving in a direction from an interior toward an exterior of the normally-closed valve opening. 17. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the elastic valve member and the valve seat are configured so as to require progressively less energy to move the elastic valve member from the normally-closed position to the open position when moving in a direction from an interior toward an exterior of the one-way valve. 18. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein a portion of the elastic valve member is not spaced away from the closed position substantially throughout any period of dispensing to maintain a hermetic seal between an inlet to the valve opening and ambient atmosphere. 19. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the elastic valve member is movable radially between the normally-closed position, and an open position with at least a segment of the elastic valve member spaced radially away from the closed position to connect the valve opening in fluid communication with the compression chamber and thereby allow the passage of fluid from the compression chamber through the valve opening. 20. A device as defined in claim 1, further comprising an outer body and an inner bladder, and wherein one or more of the outer body or the inner bladder defines a hermetically sealed, variable-volume storage chamber including multiple portions of fluid stored therein in an aseptic condition. 21. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the compressive surface, manually-engageable actuator, and compression chamber form a pump coupled between the storage chamber and the one-way valve for pumping substance from the storage chamber through the one-way valve. 22. A device as defined in claim 21, wherein the pump is configured to pump discrete portions of fluid from the storage chamber through the one-way valve, and during the pumping of discrete portions of fluid through the one-way valve, the one-way valve and storage chamber maintain any remaining fluid in the storage chamber in an aseptic condition and sealed with respect to ambient atmosphere. 23. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein one or more of the compressive surface or the compression chamber is movable relative to the other by the manually-engageable actuator between (i) a first position with the compression chamber coupled in fluid communication with the storage chamber for receiving fluid from the storage chamber into the compression chamber, and (ii) a second position with the compressive surface received within the compression chamber and the compression chamber substantially sealed with respect to the storage chamber to pressurize fluid within the compression chamber and dispense pressurized fluid through the one-way valve. 24. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the support comprises a flexible member defining on one side thereof the manually-engageable actuator, and defining on another side thereof the compressive surface. 25. A device as defined in claim 24, wherein the flexible member is substantially dome shaped, and the compression chamber is defined by a recess opposing the substantially dome-shaped flexible member. 26. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the penetrable and resealable portion and the compressive surface are co-molded with each other and the support. 27. A device as defined in claim 26, wherein the elastic valve member is co-molded with the support. 28. A device as defined in claim 26, wherein the manually-engageable actuator is co-molded with the support. 29. A device as defined in claim 1, wherein the resulting penetration aperture in the penetrable and resealable portion is resealable by applying radiation or energy thereto. 30. A device comprising: first means for storing a fluid to be dispensed; anda closure including: (i) a base defining an aperture in fluid communication with the first means and including an axially-elongated seat; and(ii) a support including: second means for elastically engaging the seat and forming a normally-closed, axially-extending opening between the second means and the seat;third means for penetrating with an injection member and for filling the first means with a fluid therethrough;fourth means connectable in fluid communication with the first means for receiving fluid from the first means;fifth means for pressurizing fluid in the fourth means and dispensing the pressurized fluid through the normally-closed, axially-extending opening; andsixth means for manually engaging and moving the fifth means between first and second positions;wherein the support is engageable with the base to secure the support to the base and form a fluid-tight seal therebetween, and in such position, the second means is engaged with the seat and forms the normally-closed, axially-extending opening between the second means and the seat, the third means is in fluid communication with the first means, and the sixth means is manually engageable and movable between the first position in which the fluid from the first means is received within the fourth means, and the second position in which fluid in the fourth means is pressurized and dispensed through the normally-closed, axially-extending opening. 31. A device as defined in claim 30, wherein the first means is a storage chamber, the second means is an elastic valve member, the third means is a penetrable and resealable portion of the support, the fourth means is a compression chamber located between the support and base, the fifth means is a compressive surface of the support, and the sixth means is a manually-engageable actuator of the support.
