Systems and methods for adjusting or providing instructions to spraying systems are provided. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, an apparatus to identify sensitive areas is provided. The apparatus comprising: a module to electronically receive sensitive area information, the sensitive area information related to one or more sensitive areas proximate to a first specified location; a module to electronically receive an identity of a first substance to be sprayed at the first specified location; and an alert mechanism to provide an indication of a first sensitive area proximate to the first specified location which is sensitive to the first substance.

1. An apparatus to identify sensitive areas adjacent an area to be sprayed, the apparatus comprising a processor, the processor receiving an identity of a first substance to be sprayed on the area to be sprayed and an indication of a first area adjacent to the first location;a display operatively coupled to the processor;a memory operatively coupled to the processor, the processor determining the first area is sensitive to the first substance to be sprayed based on the identity of the first substance and graphically displaying on the display a boundary associated with the first area due to the first area being sensitive to the first substance. 2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the processor receives an indication of at least one weather condition, the processor further determining the boundary based on the indication of at least one weather condition. 3. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the indication of at least one weather condition is selected from the group of temperature, humidity, wind speed, and wind direction. 4. The apparatus of claim 3, wherein the at least one weather condition is displayed on the display. 5. The apparatus of claim 4, wherein the processor receives an indication of at least one distribution system parameter, the processor further determining the boundary based on the indication of at least one distribution system parameter. 6. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the indication of at least one distribution system parameter is selected from the group of boom height, droplet size, speed, and pressure. 7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the at least distribution system parameter is displayed on the display. 8. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein the processor changes the displayed boundary due to an updated indication of at least one weather condition. 9. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein the processor changes the displayed boundary due to an updated indication of at least one distribution system parameter. 10. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein an indication of a current location of a distribution system which applies the first substance to the area to be sprayed is provided on the display. 11. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein an indication of a path of the distribution system is provided on the display. 12. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the processor changes the displayed boundary due to an updated indication of at least one distribution system parameter. 13. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the boundary indicates a zone in which a parameter of a distribution system which applies the first substance to the area to be sprayed is to be altered to avoid spray drift into the first area. 14. The apparatus of claim 13, wherein the first area is displayed on the display. 15. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the memory includes a database of substances including the substance to be sprayed, and a listing of types of plants or animals that are sensitive to each of the substances in the database. 16. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the processor determines the first area is sensitive to the first substance to be sprayed based on whether the types of plants or animals present in the sensitive area are sensitive to the first substance. 17. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the identity of the first substance comprises a type of the first substance in relation to a known adversity of at least one of a plant, an animal, a fungus and a bacterium to the first substance. 18. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the processor is programmed to adjust an output of a spraying system in response to the first area being within a threshold distance from a current location of the apparatus. 19. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the processor is programmed to determine a second substance different from the first substance, the first area not being sensitive to the second substance. 20. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the processor is programmed to determine a second substance different from the first substance, the sensitive area not being sensitive to the second substance. 21. An apparatus to identify a sensitive area adjacent an area to be sprayed, the apparatus comprising: a memory including sensitive area information related to a sensitive area, and an identity of a first substance which can be sprayed on the sensitive area,a location identifier receiving information related to the location of the apparatus;a processor operatively coupled to the memory and the location identifier, the processor receiving the sensitive area information, the identity of the first substance, and the location of the apparatus, the processor programmed to determine whether the sensitive area is sensitive to the first substance to be sprayed based on the identity of the first substance, andthe processor programmed to determine whether the location of apparatus is within a threshold distance from the sensitive area; andan alert activated by the processor when the sensitive area is sensitive to the first substance and the apparatus is within the threshold distance from the sensitive area. 22. The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the location identifier comprises a GPS transmitter. 23. The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the alert comprises a visual alert displayed on a visual display. 24. The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the memory includes a database of substances including the substance to be sprayed, and the sensitive area information comprises a listing of types of plants or animals that are sensitive to each of the substances in the database. 25. The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the identity of the first substance comprises a type of the first substance in relation to a known adversity of at least one of a plant, an animal, a fungus and a bacterium to the first substance. 26. The apparatus of claim 25, wherein the processor is programmed to adjust an output of a spraying system in response to the apparatus being within the threshold distance from the sensitive area.
