A light fixture includes a heat dissipating structure, an electronics assembly, and a bolt for attaching the heat dissipating structure to an external panel. The heat dissipating structure includes a first side having multiple outwardly extending projection regions and a socket, for receiving a light source, is formed in an apex of each projection region. A second side of the heat dissipating structure includes a heat sink formed in an internal cavity of each projection region. The heat sink includes fins in contact with and radially arranged about an outer surface of the socket. The electronics assembly is located at the first side of the heat dissipating structure. The bolt includes a passage through which wiring from an external source is routed to the electronics assembly. The electronics assembly includes wires routed through channels in each of the projection regions that electrically interconnect the light sources to the electronics assembly.

A system comprising: a light fixture including:a heat dissipating structure having a first side and a second side opposing said first side, said first side including at least one projection region extending outwardly forming an apex and a recessed surface formed in said apex, said recessed surface configured to retain a light source and located between said apex and said second side, and a plurality of fins adjacent to said recessed surface, wherein the fins extend from said apex of said projection region past the recessed surface toward the second side, wherein the second side is flat and the fins terminate at the second side;an electronics assembly located at said first side of said heat dissipating structure; anda fastener device configured for attachment of said heat dissipating structure to an external panel, said fastener device including a longitudinally aligned interior passage for directing wiring from an external power source to said electronics assembly. 3. The system as claimed in claim 2 wherein said light fixture further comprises a junction enclosure coupled to said first side of said heat dissipating structure, said electronics assembly is housed in said junction enclosure, and said junction enclosure includes a threaded opening, said fastener device being configured to couple to said junction enclosure via said threaded opening. 4. The system as claimed in claim 3 wherein said heat dissipating structure and said junction enclosure are formed as a monolithic casting of heat conducting material. 5. The system as claimed in claim 3 wherein said light fixture is a first light fixture, said junction enclosure is a first junction enclosure, said threaded opening is a first threaded opening, and said system further comprises: a second light fixture, said second light fixture including a second heat dissipating structure having said first side and said second side, a second junction enclosure coupled to said first side of said second heat dissipating structure, and a second electronics assembly housed in said second junction enclosure, wherein said second junction enclosure includes a second threaded opening; anda wiring conduit having a first end coupled to said first junction enclosure at said first threaded opening and having a second end coupled to said second junction enclosure at said second threaded opening for electrically interconnecting said first and second electronics assemblies. 6. The system as claimed in claim 2 further comprising a plate configured for placement at a first surface of said external panel, and said fastener device is adapted to pass through an opening in each of said plate and said external panel to fasten said heat dissipating structure against a second surface of said external panel. 7. The system as claimed in claim 2 wherein: said heat dissipating structure includes a channel extending through said heat dissipating structure between a location of said electronics assembly and said recessed surface; andsaid electronics assembly includes at least one wire residing in said passage for electrically interconnecting said light source to said electronics assembly. 8. The system as claimed in claim 2 wherein said light fixture further includes: a lens assembly coupled to said first side of said heat dissipating structure overlying said recessed surface; anda gasket interposed between a frame of said lens assembly and a planar surface of said projection region surrounding said recessed surface. 9. The system as claimed in claim 8 wherein: said planar surface includes apertures extending through said heat dissipating structure; andsaid lens assembly includes a lens frame that extends partially over said apertures. 10. A device comprising: an elongated body having an interior passage adapted for directing wiring from a first location to a second location; anda fastening structure formed at said first end of said body, said fastening structure being adapted for attachment to a removable device, said interior passage extending through said fastening structure in order to deliver said wiring to said removable device, wherein said elongated body is formed from a non-corrosive material, said non-corrosive material being coated with or made of a thermally non-conductive material. 11. A method for mounting a light fixture to an external panel comprising: placing a gasket and pressure plate structure at a first side of said external panel over a panel opening formed through said external panel, said gasket and pressure plate structure having a plate opening aligned with said panel opening;placing a junction enclosure over said gasket and pressure plate structure at said first side of said external panel, said junction enclosure having a enclosure opening aligned with each of said panel opening and said plate opening;inserting a fastener device through said enclosure opening, said plate opening, and said panel opening, said fastener device being non-corrosive and thermally non-conductive; andcompressively attaching said fastener device with said light fixture, wherein said light fixture is located at a second side of said external panel, wherein said compressively attaching imposes a compressive force between said light fixture and said gasket and pressure plate structure to retain said light fixture in a sealed engagement with said external panel. 12. The method of claim 11 further comprising positioning a gasket between said second side of said external panel and a back side of said light fixture. 13. The method of claim 11 wherein a longitudinally aligned interior passage extends through an entirety of said fastener device, and said method further comprises: directing wiring through said interior passage from a power source external to said junction enclosure to an electronics assembly housed in said light fixture; andsealing said interior passage against moisture and air passage. 14. The method of claim 11 wherein said compressively attaching comprises rotating said fastener device into threaded engagement with a threaded opening extending through said light fixture, wherein said rotating imposes a compressive force between said light fixture and said gasket and pressure plate structure. 15. The method of claim 11, wherein said gasket and pressure plate structure and said junction enclosure are formed as a monolithic structure, wherein said enclosure opening and said plate opening are the same opening. 16. A lighting device comprising: an elongated body having a longitudinally aligned interior passage adapted for directing wiring from a first location to a second location; anda fastening structure formed in said elongated body, said fastening structure being adapted for attachment to a removable device having a heat dissipating structure, said interior passage extending through said fastening structure in order to deliver said wiring to said removable device, wherein said elongated body is formed from a non-corrosive material, said non-corrosive material being coated with or made of a thermally non-conductive material; andsaid heat dissipating structure comprising a first side and a second side opposing said first side, said first side including a projection region extending outwardly forming an apex and a recessed surface formed in said apex, said recessed surface releasably retaining a light source on said recessed surface, said recessed surface located between said apex and said second side, wherein said wiring is connected to said light source, said heat dissipating structure comprising a plurality of fins adjacent to said recessed surface, wherein the fins extend from the apex of said projection region past the recessed surface of the projection region and toward the second side, wherein the second side is flat and the fins terminate at the second side. 17. The lighting device of claim 16, further comprising a gasket and pressure plate structure, wherein said gasket and pressure plate structure comprises a plate opening to couple to said elongated body, and wherein an external panel is compressed between said gasket and pressure plate structure. 18. The lighting device of claim 17, further comprising a gasket coupled to said second side of said heat dissipating structure, wherein said gasket forms a seal form air and moisture between said second side of said heat dissipating structure and said external panel in response to compression of said external panel between said gasket and pressure plate structure and said second side of said heat dissipating structure. 19. The lighting device of claim 17, wherein said gasket and pressure plate structure uniformly distributes forces across a plate area of said gasket and pressure plate structure in response to compressing said external panel between said gasket and pressure plate structure. 20. The lighting device of claim 19, further comprising a junction enclosure, wherein said junction enclosure is one of coupled to said gasket and pressure plate structure or formed as a monolithic structure with said gasket and pressure plate structure. 21. The lighting device of claim 16, wherein said heat dissipating structure is a monolithic structure. 22. The system of claim 2 wherein said longitudinally aligned interior passage is formed from a non-corrosive material, said non-corrosive material being coated with or made of a thermally non-conductive material. 23. The lighting device of claim 16 wherein said elongated body is formed from a non-corrosive material, said non-corrosive material being coated with or made of a thermally non-conductive material.
