The method of claim 1 wherein each of the first and second presentation devices are located within the same conference space. 13. A method for establishing a conference session between a plurality of presentation devices including at least first and second presentation devices, the method comprising the steps of: creating a conference session involving the first presentation device and at least one other presentation device, the first presentation device comprising at least one first display device on which content to be shared is displayed;for at least the second presentation device that includes at least one second display device, upon successful joining to the conference session, automatically sharing content displayed on the first display device with the second presentation device for display on the second display device; anddisplaying a toolbar on the first display device, the toolbar including a list of content presented during the conference session. 14. The method of claim 13 wherein the step of creating comprises assigning a password to the conference session and conveying the password to users of presentation devices invited to join the conference session, the assigned password being used to join the conference session. 15. The method of claim 14 further comprising, prior to the step of automatically sharing content, receiving the password from at least one of the other of the presentation devices and, upon validation of the received password, automatically sharing content. 16. The method of claim 13 wherein the first presentation device comprises a first plurality of presentation devices and wherein the step of displaying comprises displaying the toolbar on each of the first plurality of presentation devices. 17. The method of claim 13 wherein the first presentation device is located in a conference space and the second presentation device is located remote from the conference space. 18. The method of claim 13 wherein each of the first and second presentation devices are located within the same conference space. 19. A method for establishing a conference session between a plurality of presentation devices including at least first and second presentation devices, the method comprising the steps of: creating a conference session involving the first presentation device and at least one other presentation device, the first presentation device comprising at least one first display device on which content to be shared is displayed;for at least the second presentation device that includes at least one second display device, upon successful joining to the conference session, automatically sharing content displayed on the first display device with the second presentation device for display on the second display device;wherein a first plurality of presentation devices in addition to the first presentation device are located within a conference space, each presentation device in the first plurality of presentation devices including a display device, the method further comprising the steps of displaying a toolbar on the first display device, the toolbar including a separate selection icon for each of the presentation devices in the first plurality of presentation devices and, upon receiving selection of one of the selection icons, moving the image presented on the first display device to the display device associated with the selected one of the selection icons. 20. The method of claim 19 further comprising the step of displaying a toolbar on each of the display devices associated with one of the first plurality of presentation devices wherein each toolbar includes selection icons for at least a subset of the presentation devices in the first plurality of presentation devices. 21. The method of claim 19 wherein the presentation devices are arranged within the conference space at specific locations and wherein the selection icons are arranged on the toolbar to reflect the relative locations of the presentation devices within the conference space. 22.
