The exhaust-gas turbocharger as claimed in claim 1, wherein the retaining device (9) is arranged indirectly on the outer circumferential region (11) of the housing (8) of the control capsule. 5. The exhaust-gas turbocharger as claimed in claim 4, wherein the retaining device (9) is arranged on a holder (14) which is arranged on the outer circumferential region (11) of the control capsule (7). 6.
