A vented and water control paneling has improved drainage and integrated ventilation air space. The water control paneling may be fabricated with an omnidirectional relief pattern formed on its back surface. The relief pattern spaces the vented and water control paneling away from a structure to which it is secured, thereby providing an omnidirectional drainage plane between the back surface of the paneling and the structure. The omnidirectional drainage plane provides an unimpeded ventilation and drainage path of water and/or water vapor.

The vented and water control system of claim 1, the omnidirectional relief pattern being located on a portion, but not all of, the back surface. 3. The vented and water control system of claim 1, the omnidirectional relief pattern being located on an entirety of the back surface. 4. The vented and water control system of claim 1, the finish layer comprising one or more of the wood-based coating and the resins, the wood-based coating being one or more of wood fibers, paper, and cellulose. 5. The vented and water control system of claim 1, the one piece construction being of a material selected from the group of cement, cement-based, metal, wood, wood-based, or composite. 6. The vented and water control system of claim 1, wherein the raised elements are raised bumps or dots with air space on all sides. 7. The vented and water control system of claim 1, the plurality of raised elements being formed in a grid. 8. The vented and water control system of claim 7, wherein the raised elements are oriented in an egg-crate pattern. 9. The vented and water control system of claim 1, further including a joint reinforcement attached to the siding panel. 10. The vented and water control system of claim 9, further comprising a second exterior siding panel, the joint reinforcement covering a joint between the exterior siding panel and the second exterior siding panel. 11. A structure having water drainage and air ventilation features, the structure comprising: a first layer including one or more exterior siding panels configured to mount at a wall of a structure, each of the exterior siding panels being of one piece construction including a front surface, a back surface, and an omnidirectional relief pattern integral with each said exterior siding panel that is located at the back surface and defined by a plurality of raised elements that form an omnidirectional ventilation and drainage plane between the back surface and the wall when the exterior siding panels are mounted thereon; anda non-structural finish layer positioned on each of the one or more exterior siding panels, and free of a lath layer between the finish layer and the exterior siding panels, the non-structural finish layer comprising one or more of paint, plaster, stucco, wood-based coating, resins, and parge coat. 12. The structure of claim 11, the first layer including a plurality of the exterior siding panels positioned adjacent to each other. 13. The structure of claim 11, the first layer being a non-structural layer of the structure. 14. The structure of claim 11, the finish layer comprising a stucco layer without lath. 15. The structure claim 11, the omnidirectional relief pattern being located on a portion, but not all of, the back surface. 16. The structure of claim 11, the omnidirectional relief pattern being located on an entirety of the back surface. 17. The structure of claim 11, the one piece construction being of a material selected from the group of cement, cement-based, metal, wood, wood-based, or composite. 18. The structure of claim 11, the finish layer comprising one or more of the wood-based coating and the resins, the wood-based coating being one or more of wood fibers, paper, and cellulose. 19. The structure of claim 11, further comprising a joint reinforcement at a joint of two of the one or more exterior siding panels and located between the siding panels and the finish layer. 20. The structure of claim 19, the joint reinforcement covering every other joint between a plurality of the at least one or more siding panels. 21. A vented and water control system, consisting of: an exterior siding panel configured to be mounted at a wall of a structure, the exterior siding panel being of one piece construction and having a front surface, a back surface, and an omnidirectional relief pattern integral with the exterior siding panel that is located at the back surface and defined by a plurality of raised elements that form an omnidirectional ventilation and drainage plane between the wall and the back surface when the exterior siding panel is mounted at the wall; anda non-structural finish layer positioned on the front surface, the non-structural finish layer comprising one or more of paint, plaster, stucco, wood-based coating, resins, and parge coat. 22. The vented and water control system of claim 21, the exterior siding panel being a non-structural panel. 23. The vented and water control system of claim 21, the omnidirectional relief pattern being located on a portion, but not all of, the back surface. 24. The vented and water control system of claim 21, the omnidirectional relief pattern being located on an entirety of the back surface. 25. The vented and water control panel of claim 21, the one piece construction being of a material selected from the group of cement, cement-based, metal, wood, wood-based, or composite.
