The air compressor as claimed in claim 11, wherein the separation line is provided between the crank pin receiving end and the rod member. 13. The air compressor as claimed in claim 11, wherein the connecting rod comprises a first portion including the rod member and the wrist pin receiving end, and a separate second portion including the crank pin receiving end, and wherein the separation line is provided between the first portion and the second portion. 14.
