The small animal rearing container includes a base having a substantially box shape with an opened upper end, a peripheral wall extending upward from the outer edge of the base, a fixing frame coupled to an upper end opening edge of the peripheral wall, and a cover plate coupled to the fixing frame. The peripheral wall has a plurality of glass plate wall members coupled together. The peripheral wall includes a porous sheet having air permeability. The cover plate includes a porous sheet having air permeability. The peripheral wall includes a window plate. The small animal rearing container as recited in claim 4, wherein the plurality of wall members are formed to have shapes capable of being accommodated in the base in a disassembled state. 6. The small animal rearing container as recited in claim 1, wherein the base is configured to store water therein.
