A cold brew coffee apparatus comprising: (a) a first chamber having a first chamber interior volume, a first chamber bottom surface, and a first chamber opening remote from said first chamber bottom surface;(b) a second chamber having a second chamber interior volume, a second chamber bottom surface, and a second chamber opening remote from said second chamber bottom surface, said second chamber interior volume in fluid connection with said first chamber interior volume;(c) a filter providing a water-permeable barrier, said filter defining a filter interior volume, said filter sized to fit within said first chamber interior volume;(d) said filter having a filter base, a filter rim, and a plurality of connecting members connecting said filter base to said filter rim, an opening defined between each pair of connecting members and both said filter base and said filter rim; and(e) said water-permeable barrier spanning said defined openings; wherein said filter is positionable within said first chamber such that it divides said filter interior volume from a remainder of said first chamber interior volume; whereby cold brew infusion occurs when water in said first chamber interior volume passes through said water-permeable barrier and soaks coffee grounds within said filter interior volume to form a soluble coffee extract. 2. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal;(b) wherein said centerpiece connector allows liquid to flow between said centerpiece connector first opening end and said centerpiece connector second opening end to allow liquid to flow between said first chamber and said second chamber. 3. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal; and(b) said centerpiece connector having an annular interior shoulder between said centerpiece connector first opening end and said centerpiece connector second opening end. 4. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal; and(b) said centerpiece connector having a screen filter positioned between said centerpiece connector first opening end and said centerpiece connector second opening end. 5. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal; and(b) said centerpiece connector having an annular interior shoulder and a screen filter between said centerpiece connector first opening end and said centerpiece connector second opening end, said screen filter offset from the peripheral edge of said centerpiece connector by said annular interior shoulder. 6. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal;(b) wherein said first chamber and said second chamber, when connected by said centerpiece connector, have an hourglass shape. 7. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1, further comprising: (a) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal; and(b) a cap, said cap associateable with at least one of said first chamber bottom surface or said second chamber bottom surface. 8. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a cap, said cap nestable within a base associated with said first chamber bottom surface. 9. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal; and(b) said filter being associateable with said centerpiece connector. 10. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal; and(b) said filter being a direct-grind filter having an opening through which grinds may be inserted into said direct-grind filter, said direct-grind filter having a water-permeable peripheral exterior surface, said opening of said filter being associateable with said centerpiece connector. 11. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal;(b) said filter base, filter rim, and plurality of connecting members forming a filter frame, said filter frame having an opening defined by said filter rim;(c) said filter being a pod filter insertable into said filter frame; and(d) said opening of said filter frame associateable with said centerpiece connector. 12. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal;(b) a ring-shaped pod lock;(c) said filter being a pod filter associateable with said ring-shaped pod lock; and(d) said ring-shaped pod lock associateable with said centerpiece connector. 13. A cold brew coffee apparatus comprising: (a) a brew chamber having a brew chamber interior volume, a brew chamber bottom surface, and a brew chamber opening remote from said brew chamber bottom surface;(b) an extract chamber having an extract chamber interior volume, an extract chamber bottom surface, and an extract chamber opening remote from said extract chamber bottom surface, said extract chamber interior volume in fluid connection with said brew chamber interior volume;(c) a filter providing a water-permeable barrier, said filter defining a filter interior volume, said filter sized to fit within said brew chamber interior volume;(d) said filter comprising a filter base, a filter rim, and a plurality of connecting members connecting said filter base to said filter rim;(e) said filter rim attachable to said brew chamber bottom surface;(f) said filter having an opening defined between each pair of connecting members and both said filter base and said filter rim; and(g) said water-permeable barrier spanning said defined openings; wherein when said filter is positioned within said brew chamber it divides said filter interior volume from a remainder of said brew chamber interior volume; whereby cold brew infusion occurs when water in said brew chamber interior volume passes through said water-permeable barrier and soaks coffee grounds within said filter interior volume to form a soluble coffee extract. 14. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 13, further comprising a cap, said cap associateable with said brew chamber bottom surface. 15. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 13, further comprising a cap, said cap nestable within a base associated with said brew chamber bottom surface. 16. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) said filter rim attachable to said first chamber bottom surface;(b) wherein said filter rim having attachment structure to securely attach said filter rim to said first chamber bottom surface to form a hermetic seal between said filter rim and said first chamber bottom surface. 17. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) at least one feature selected from the group consisting of:(i) said filter base having at least one leg member on which said filter is capable of standing; and(ii) said filter base having a plurality of leg members on which said filter is capable of standing. 18. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: (a) at least one feature selected from the group consisting of:(i) said filter base having at least one leg member on which said filter is capable of standing; and(ii) said filter base having a plurality of leg members on which said filter is capable of standing;(b) wherein said filter rim having attachment structure to securely attach said filter rim to said first chamber bottom surface to form a hermetic seal between said filter rim and said first chamber bottom surface. 19. A cold brew coffee apparatus comprising: (a) a brew chamber having a brew chamber interior volume, a brew chamber bottom surface, and a brew chamber opening remote from said brew chamber bottom surface;(b) a filter providing a water-permeable barrier, said filter defining a filter interior volume, said filter sized to fit within said brew chamber interior volume, said filter comprising a filter base, a filter rim defining a filter opening, and a water-permeable barrier spanning a distance between said filter base and said filter rim, said filter rim attachable to said brew chamber bottom surface, wherein coffee grounds may be inserted through said filter opening such that said coffee grounds are held within said filter interior volume; and(c) said filter rim having attachment structure to securely attach said filter rim to said brew chamber bottom surface to form a hermetic seal between said filter rim and said brew chamber bottom surface, wherein when said filter is positioned and secured within said brew chamber interior volume, said brew chamber bottom surface prevents said coffee grounds from escaping through said filter opening;wherein when said filter is positioned within said brew chamber it divides said filter interior volume from a remainder of said brew chamber interior volume;whereby cold brew infusion occurs when water in said brew chamber interior volume passes through said water-permeable barrier and soaks coffee grounds within said filter interior volume to form a soluble coffee extract. 20. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 19, said filter further comprising at least one feature selected from the group consisting of: (a) said filter base having at least one leg member on which said filter is capable of standing; and(b) said filter base having a plurality of leg members on which said filter is capable of standing. 21. A cold brew coffee apparatus comprising: (a) a first chamber having a first chamber interior volume, a first chamber bottom surface, and a first chamber opening remote from said first chamber bottom surface;(b) a second chamber having a second chamber interior volume, a second chamber bottom surface, and a second chamber opening remote from said second chamber bottom surface;(c) a centerpiece connector having a centerpiece connector first opening end and a centerpiece connector second opening end, said centerpiece connector first opening end for associating with said first chamber opening to form a water impermeable seal, said centerpiece connector second opening end for associating with said second chamber opening to form said water impermeable seal; and(d) a filter providing a water-permeable barrier, said filter defining a filter interior volume, said filter sized to fit within said first chamber interior volume, said filter comprising a filter base, a filter rim, and a water-permeable barrier spanning a distance between said filter base and said filter rim, said filter rim attachable to said first chamber bottom surface;wherein said first chamber and said second chamber, when connected by said centerpiece connector, have an hourglass shape;wherein said filter is positionable within said first chamber such that it divides said filter interior volume from a remainder of said first chamber interior volume;whereby cold brew infusion occurs when water in said first chamber interior volume passes through said water-permeable barrier and soaks coffee grounds within said filter interior volume to form a soluble coffee extract. 22. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 21 further comprising: (a) a plurality of connecting members connecting said filter base to said filter rim, an opening defined between each pair of connecting members and both said filter base and said filter rim; and(b) said water-permeable barrier spanning said defined openings. 23. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 21, said filter rim having attachment structure to securely attach said filter rim to said first chamber bottom surface to form a hermetic seal between said filter rim and said first chamber bottom surface. 24. The cold brew coffee apparatus of claim 21 further comprising at least one feature selected from the group consisting of: (a) said filter base having at least one leg member on which said filter is capable of standing; and(b) said filter base having a plurality of leg members on which said filter is capable of standing.
