1. A method of installing a fluid cartridge in a fluid ejection system, the method comprising: inserting the fluid cartridge into a cartridge receiving structure of the fluid ejection system;using a guide in a bottom face of the cartridge for guiding the cartridge along a straight line for connecting interfaces on a front face of the cartridge to the cartridge receiving structure, wherein the interfaces on the front face comprise an air interface and an ejector alignment interface disposed above an ink interface;guiding and retaining a latch of the cartridge receiving structure with a latch stop and a latch track, disposed in the bottom face of the cartridge;with guiding the cartridge with the guide in the bottom face of the cartridge, interfacing the air interface with an air input of the cartridge receiving structure, interfacing the ejector alignment interface with an ejector of the cartridge receiving structure and interfacing the ink interface with an ink pen of the cartridge receiving structure; andafter interfacing the ink interface and ink pen, interfacing an electrical circuit, located in the front face above the air interface, with an electrical interface of the cartridge receiving structure. 2. The method of claim 1, the ejector alignment interface comprising a ring-shaped ridge. 3. The method of claim 2, wherein the ridge is provided around the air interface. 4. The method of claim 1, comprising pushing and guiding the cartridge in the cartridge receiving structure whereby the ink pen and an air pen of the cartridge receiving structure each are inserted in a respective socket of the ink interface and air interface of the cartridge, whereinduring said pushing and guiding, the ejector of the cartridge receiving structure engages the front face of the cartridge around the air pen and is compressed. 5. The method of claim 1, comprising pushing and guiding the cartridge in the cartridge receiving structure against a force exerted by the ejector, wherein during said pushing and guiding the front face engages and compresses the ejector of the cartridge receiving structure, andthe cartridge is retained and locked in a compressed state of the ejector. 6. The method of claim 5, wherein the ejector comprises a helical spring. 7. The method of claim 1, comprising again pushing the cartridge against the force of the spring, guiding the latch into an unlocked position, andejecting the cartridge by decompressing the ejector. 8. The method of claim 1, further comprising directing the latch to a locking track of the latch track, rather than an unlocking track of the latch track, at insertion, with a projection extending into the latch track. 9. The method of claim 1, further comprising directing the latch along a first side of the latch stop for insertion of the cartridge in the cartridge receiving structure with a jog in the latch track, wherein the latch moves along a second, opposite side of the latch stop during removal of the cartridge. 10. The method of claim 1, wherein the guide comprises a guide track that extends parallel to said straight line, wherein the guide track and the latch track are formed by one integral cut out in the bottom face of the cartridge. 11. The method of claim 10, further comprising aligning the cartridge for insertion with a tapered receiving opening of the guide track at the front face of the cartridge. 12. The method of claim 11, wherein the guide track comprises flanges being tapered at the receiving opening. 13. The method of claim 1, further comprising making electrical contact between the cartridge and the cartridge receiving structure with the electrical circuit that is sunken in the front face of the cartridge so that electrical contact is made after at least one other interface is already connected. 14. The method of claim 13, wherein: the electrical circuit is disposed in an upper portion of the front face of the cartridge; andthe ink interface is disposed in a lower portion of the front face of the cartridge. 15. The method of claim 1, wherein the ejector alignment interface comprises a ring-shaped ridge. 16. The method of claim 1, further comprising compressing an ejector spring of the ejector of the cartridge receiving structure, the spring engaging the front face of the cartridge at the ejector alignment interface surrounding the air interface. 17. The method of claim 1, wherein a beginning of the latch track to engage the latch is spaced away from the front face of the cartridge along the bottom face of the cartridge. 18. A method of installing a fluid cartridge in a fluid ejection system, the method comprising: inserting the fluid cartridge into a cartridge receiving structure of the fluid ejection system;using a guide in a bottom face of the cartridge for guiding the cartridge along a straight line for connecting interfaces on a front face of the cartridge to the cartridge receiving structure, wherein the interfaces on the front face comprise an ink interface and an air interface above the ink interface;compressing an ejector spring of the cartridge receiving structure, the spring engaging the front face of the cartridge at an ejector interface surrounding the air interface; andguiding and retaining a latch of the cartridge receiving structure with a latch stop and a latch track, disposed in the bottom face of the cartridge. 19. The method of claim 18, the ejector interface comprising a ring-shaped ridge, wherein the method comprising receiving the ring-shaped ridge inside an end of the ejector spring to align the ejector spring. 20. The method of claim 19, wherein the ridge is provided around the air interface. 21. A method of installing a fluid cartridge in a fluid ejection system, the method comprising: inserting the fluid cartridge into a cartridge receiving structure of the fluid ejection system;using a guide in a bottom face of the cartridge for guiding the cartridge along a straight line for connecting interfaces on a front face of the cartridge to the cartridge receiving structure, wherein the interfaces on the front face comprise an ejector alignment interface; andguiding and retaining a latch of the cartridge receiving structure with a latch stop and a latch track, disposed in the bottom face of the cartridge, wherein a beginning of the latch track to engage the latch is spaced away from the front face of the cartridge along the bottom face of the cartridge. 22. The method of claim 21, the ejector alignment interface comprising a ring-shaped ridge. 23. The method of claim 22, wherein the ridge is provided around an air interface on the front face of the cartridge. 24. The method of claim 22, wherein the cartridge receiving structure comprises an ejector comprising a helical spring, the method comprising receiving the ridge inside an end of the spring to align the spring to the cartridge. 25. The method of claim 21, comprising pushing and guiding the cartridge in the cartridge receiving structure whereby an ink pen and an air pen each are inserted in a respective socket of the cartridge, whereinduring said pushing and guiding an ejector of the cartridge receiving structure engages the front face of the cartridge around the air pen and is compressed.
