A multipipettor, having multiple pipettes or nozzles, can engage the pipette tips retained by the sheet. After use, the multipipettor can eject the pipette tips, which sometimes are ejected as a single unit due to the pipette tips being retained by the sheet. In certain embodiments, an apparatus includes a snap plate having one or more holes, and a base rack for ease of mounting.

The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the holes of the array of holes in the sheet and holes of the array of holes in the pipette tip receptacle plate each comprise a diameter or effective diameter and the diameter or the effective diameter of the holes of the array of holes in the sheet is less than the diameter or the effective diameter of the holes of the array of holes in the pipette tip receptacle plate. 3. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the difference between (a) the diameter or effective diameter of each of the holes of the array of holes in the sheet, and (b) the outer diameter of the pipette tip exterior surface that contacts the hole edge, is about 0.01 inches or less. 4. The pipette tip tray of claim 3, wherein the difference between (a) and (b) is about 0.005 inches or less. 5. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein each of the pipette tips of the array of pipette tips comprises a proximal opening, each of the holes of the array of holes of the sheet comprises a center, and the proximal opening of each of the pipette tips is concentric with the center of a hole of the sheet. 6. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, comprising at least three sheet holes in the array of holes and wherein the distance between the center of each hole of the sheet to an adjacent hole of the sheet is uniform. 7. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the center-to-center distance between each hole to an adjacent hole of the array of holes of the sheet is about 0.10 inches to about 0.14 inches. 8. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, or a subset of the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, are circular. 9. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, or a subset of the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, are not circular. 10. The pipette tip tray of claim 9, wherein the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, or a subset of the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, are polygon-shaped. 11. The pipette tip tray of claim 10, wherein the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, or a subset of the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, are quadrilateral, square, rectangular, parallelogram-shaped, triangular-shaped, star-shaped, or pentagon-shaped. 12. The pipette tip tray of claim 10, wherein the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, or a subset of the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, are trapezoid-shaped, rhomboid-shaped, or hexagon-shaped. 13. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, or a subset of the holes of the array of holes of the sheet, are oval. 14. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, comprising voids in the sheet, wherein each of the voids comprises an edge and the edge of each of the voids does not contact a pipette tip. 15. The pipette tip tray of claim 14, wherein each of the voids comprises a center;wherein the array of holes in the sheet further comprises a plurality of groups of quadrilaterally arranged holes and a void in the center of each of the groups of quadrilaterally arranged holes,wherein the center of each void in the center of each of the groups is located at a cross point at an intersection of two virtual diagonal lines drawn between the centers of diagonally opposed holes in each of the groups of the four quadrilaterally arranged holes. 16. The pipette tip tray of claim 14, wherein the voids are polygon-shaped. 17. The pipette tip tray of claim 16, wherein the voids are square, rectangular, parallelogram-shaped, rhomboid-shaped or X-shaped. 18. The pipette tip tray of claim 16, wherein the voids are trapezoid-shaped or hexagon-shaped. 19. The pipette tip tray of claim 14, wherein the voids are triangular, star-shaped, Y-shaped, Z-shaped, C-shaped, S-shaped, sigmoidal, pentagon-shaped and/or hexagon-shaped. 20. The pipette tip tray of claim 14, wherein the voids are circular or oval. 21. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the sheet comprises a uniform thickness or substantially uniform thickness of about 0.007 inches to about 0.013 inches. 22. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the sheet comprises a uniform thickness or substantially uniform thickness of about 0.009 inches to about 0.011 inches. 23. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the sheet comprises a uniform thickness or substantially uniform thickness of about 0.01 inches. 24. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the sheet can flex about 1 inch to about 3 inches or more under the force of gravity. 25. The pipette tip tray of claim 26, wherein the difference between (a) and (b) is about 0.0005 inches or less. 28. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein the sheet is deformed around each of the pipette tips in the array of pipette tips. 30. The pipette tip tray of claim 1, wherein: there is a force between each pipette tip and the edge of each corresponding hole in the sheet in contact with the pipette tip; andthe force between each pipette tip and the edge of each corresponding hole is greater than the force of gravity when the first surface of the sheet is oriented downwards.
