A radiation system includes a first ring, a radiation source capable of providing radiation suitable for treating a patient, the radiation source secured to the first ring, a second ring located behind the first ring, and an imager secured to the second ring. A radiation system includes a first device having a radiation source capable of generating a radiation beam suitable for treating a patient, and a second device having imaging capability, wherein the first device is oriented at an angle that is less than 180° relative to the second device. A radiation system includes a structure having a first opening, a radiation source rotatably coupled to the structure, an imaging device rotatable relative to the structure, and a processor for controlling a rotation of the radiation source and a rotation of the imaging device, wherein the radiation source is rotatable relative to the imaging device.

1. A radiation system, comprising: a treatment device having a structure, and a first radiation source coupled to the structure, wherein the first radiation source is configured to rotate about an axis and to deliver a treatment radiation beam;a rail system associated with the structure; anda MRI device moveably coupled to the rail system;wherein the rail system is configured to guide the MRI device from a first position to a second position, the second position being closer to the treatment device than the first position;wherein the treatment device is at an operative position for delivering the treatment radiation beam; andwherein when the treatment device is at the operative position, and when the MRI device is at the second position, the MRI device is next to the treatment device so that a spacing between the MRI device and treatment device is less than a thickness of the MRI device or the treatment device, and the MRI device is behind the treatment device along the axis. 2. The radiation system of claim 1, wherein the treatment device is fixedly secured to the room. 3. The radiation system of claim 1, wherein the rail system comprises a rail and the MRI device comprises a roller for engaging with the rail. 4. The radiation system of claim 1, wherein the structure comprises a first side, a second side, a first opening located on the first side, and a bore extending from the first opening. 5. The radiation system of claim 4, wherein the first radiation source is located within the bore. 6. The radiation system of claim 4, wherein the first radiation source is located outside the bore. 7. The radiation system of claim 4, further comprising an arm that is rotatably secured to the structure, wherein the first radiation source is secured to the arm. 8. The radiation system of claim 1, wherein the first radiation source is also configured to deliver a diagnostic radiation beam. 9. The radiation system of claim 1, wherein the rail system is configured for allowing the MRI device to be docked at a desired position relative to the structure. 10. The radiation system of claim 1, wherein the MRI device comprises a plurality of wheels for engagement with the rail system. 11. The radiation system of claim 1, wherein the rail system comprises a first rail. 12. The radiation system of claim 11, wherein the rail system further comprises a second rail. 13. The radiation system of claim 1, wherein the rail system comprises a rail having a curvilinear shape for guiding the MRI device to move in a curvilinear path. 14. The radiation system of claim 1, wherein when the MRI device has been guided by the rail system to the second position, the MRI device is aligned with the structure. 15. The radiation system of claim 1, further comprising a patient support that is moveable relative to the structure and the MRI device. 16. The radiation system of claim 15, wherein the patient support is moveable from a first patient support position associated with the structure to a second patient support position associated with the MRI device.
