The method according to claim 15, further comprising providing a carton sleeve enveloping and supporting the thermoformed tub. 17. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein the lower rim is of rigid plastic material. 18. The assembly according to claim 17, wherein the lower rim is of a material selected from the group comprising: polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate or combinations thereof. 19.
