A shipping container, comprising: a disposal container comprising a first sidewall and a movable portion for adjusting an internal volume of said deposal container;a storage container comprising a bottom wall and a second sidewall defining a first volume for storing a new product and a second volume, said disposal container being disposed within said storage container in said second volume, and an exterior of an least said movable portion of said disposal container further defining said first volume of said storage container; anda lid adapted to be connected to said first sidewall of said disposal container and to said second sidewall of said storage container,said lid further comprising at least one opening for receiving the used product into said internal volume of said disposal container. 2. The shipping container of claim 1, wherein said storage container has a movable door into said first volume to access the new product stored in said storage container. 3. The shipping container of claim 1, wherein said movable portion causes the internal volume of said disposal container to increase, and said first volume of said storage container to decrease, when the new product is removed from said first volume of said storage container. 4. The shipping container of claim 1, wherein said lid is fixedly connected to said first sidewall of said disposal container for receiving the used product,and said lid is removably connected to said second sidewall of said storage container. 5. The shipping container of claim 1, wherein said lid has a plurality of different sized openings corresponding to different types of the used product. 6. The shipping container of claim 1, wherein said disposal container and said lid are made of a puncture-resistant plastic. 7. The shipping container of claim 1, wherein said disposal container and said lid are made of polyethylene, polypropylene or polylactide. 8. The shipping container of claim 1, wherein a plug seals said at least one opening when said disposal container is full of the used product. 9. The shipping container of claim 1, wherein a cover is connected to said lid when said disposal container is full of disposed sharps to seal said disposal container.
