The paneling system of claim 4, wherein at least one first fastener is adhered to the back side of each individual panel so that the first direction is parallel with the length of the panel. 6. The paneling system of claim 5, wherein a series of second fasteners are adhered to the wall in a vertical fashion along at least a portion of the height of the wall to form multiple vertical columns of the second fastener. 7. The paneling system of claim 6, wherein the individual panels are adapted to be attached to the wall by a connection established between at least one first fastener on the back side of the panels and two longitudinal columns of second fastener to form a perpendicular connection between the first and second fasteners. 8. The paneling system of claim 5, wherein a series of second fasteners are adhered to the wall in a horizontal fashion along at least a portion of the length of the wall to form a series of horizontal rows of the second fastener. 9. The paneling system of claim 8, wherein at least one first fastener is adhered to the back side of each individual panel so as to be parallel with the width of the panel. 10. The paneling system of claim 8, wherein the individual panels are adapted to be attached to the wall by a connection established between at least one first fastener on the back side of the panels and two horizontal rows of second fastener to form a perpendicular connection between the first and second fasteners. 11. The paneling system of claim 4, wherein the second fastener and underlying adhesive are adapted to be removed from the wall without removing paint or causing damage to the wall. 12.
