Nutritional substance systems and methods are disclosed enabling the tracking and communication of changes in nutritional, organoleptic, and aesthetic values of nutritional substances, and further enabling the adaptive storage and adaptive conditioning of nutritional substances.
대표청구항▼
1. A conditioning system for nutritional substances comprising: an ambient temperature sensor;a probe temperature sensor configured to be placed partially inside nutritional substances and output probe temperature data representing an internal temperature of nutritional substances;an optical sensor;
1. A conditioning system for nutritional substances comprising: an ambient temperature sensor;a probe temperature sensor configured to be placed partially inside nutritional substances and output probe temperature data representing an internal temperature of nutritional substances;an optical sensor;a database including various conditioning protocols referenced to various nutritional substances, the conditioning protocols including instructions executable by a controller for operating a conditioner, the executable instructions including at least a probe temperature target and an ambient temperature target;a memory containing machine readable medium comprising machine executable code having stored thereon instructions for performing a method of conditioning nutritional substances;a controller coupled to the memory, the controller configured to execute the machine executable code to cause the controller to: receive, by the controller, optical data output from the optical sensor that represents an image of the nutritional substance;identify physical attributes of the nutritional substance by processing the optical data;determine, by the controller, a category of the nutritional substance by processing the identified physical attributes;retrieve, by the controller, a conditioning protocol from the database that is referenced to the category of nutritional substance; andexecute, by the controller, the conditioning protocol operating the conditioner to cook the nutritional substance, the operating being modified during conditioning based on feedback from the ambient and probe temperature sensors. 2. The conditioning system of claim 1, further comprising an input panel and wherein the controller modifies operation of the conditioner based on output received from the input panel. 3. The conditioning system of claim 2, wherein the output received from the input panel is a doneness of meat. 4. The conditioning system of claim 1, wherein the controller turns off the conditioner when the controller determines that the probe temperature data indicates the probe temperature target has been reached. 5. The conditioning system of claim 1, wherein the category of the nutritional substance comprises a type of fruit. 6. The conditioning system of claim 1, wherein the category of the nutritional substance comprises a steak. 7. The conditioning system of claim 1, further comprising a scale, wherein the controller determines a weight of the nutritional substance based on output of the scale. 8. The conditioning system of claim 7, wherein the conditioning protocol is retrieved based on the weight determined by the controller. 9. The conditioning system of claim 7, wherein the controller modifies operation of the conditioner based on output received from the scale. 10. The conditioning system of claim 1, wherein the controller modifies operation of the conditioner based on output received from the optical sensor. 11. The conditioning system of claim 10, output received from the optical sensor includes a change in color. 12. The conditioning system of claim 1, further comprising an infrared temperature sensor configured to output the surface temperature of the nutritional substance. 13. The conditioning system of claim 12, wherein the controller modifies operation of the conditioner based on output received from the infrared temperature sensor. 14. A conditioning system for nutritional substances comprising: an optical sensor;an ambient temperature sensor;a probe temperature sensor configured to be placed partially inside nutritional substances and output probe temperature data representing internal temperatures of nutritional substances;a database including various conditioning protocols referenced to various nutritional substances, the conditioning protocols including instructions for operating a conditioner, the executable instructions including at least a probe temperature target;a memory containing machine readable medium comprising machine executable code having stored thereon instructions for performing a method of conditioning a nutritional sub stance;a control system coupled to the memory comprising one or more processors, the control system configured to execute the machine executable code to cause the control system to:determine, by the control system, a category of the nutritional substance based on data output from the optical sensor representing identified physical attributes of the nutritional substance;retrieve, by the control system, a conditioning protocol from the database that is referenced to the category of the nutritional substance; andexecute, by control system, the condition protocol thereby operating the conditioner to cook the nutritional substance, the operating being modified during conditioning based on feedback from probe temperature sensor. 15. The conditioning system of claim 14, wherein the control system modifies operation of the conditioner to increase the ambient temperature once the probe temperature data a certain target. 16. The conditioning system of claim 14, wherein the database is located near a remote server. 17. The conditioning system of claim 14, further comprising an input panel, wherein the control system determines the identity of the nutritional substance based on data output from the input panel. 18. A method of conditioning a nutritional substance, the method comprising: determining, by a control system that comprises one or more processors, a category of a nutritional substance based on data output from an optical sensor representing identified physical attributes of the nutritional substance;retrieve, by the control system, a condition protocol from a database that is referenced to the category nutritional substance; andexecute, by the control system, the condition protocol thereby operating a conditioner to cook the nutritional substance, the operating being modified during conditioning based on data output from a probe temperature sensor representing internal temperatures of the nutritional sub stance. 19. The method of claim 18, wherein the control system modifies operation of the conditioner by reducing the cooking time if the probe temperature rises faster than expected based on data stored in the database representing tests of the same type of nutritional substance. 20. The method of claim 18, wherein the control system alternates between activating microwave and convection conditioning methods during the conditioning cycle.
