Embodiments of the disclosure provide a foldable/retractable and unfoldable/deployable, rearwardly tapered aerodynamic assembly for use on the rear trailer bodies and other vehicles that accommodate dual swing-out doors. The aerodynamic assembly includes a right half mounted on the right hand door and a left half mounted on a left hand door. An aerodynamic device for a rear portion of a cargo body, comprising: an upper panel;a side panel; anda framework comprising a first member and a second member,wherein the upper panel and the side panel are each separately mounted to a door of the cargo body,wherein the upper panel and the side panel are adapted to have a deployed orientation and a retracted orientation,wherein the upper panel includes a leading edge and a trailing edge, the trailing edge positioned away from the cargo body and the leading edge proximate a top edge of the door when the upper panel is in the deployed orientation,wherein the first member of the framework is coupled to the door of the cargo body and to the second member of the framework,wherein the second member of the framework is coupled to the upper panel at an attachment point that is closer to the trailing edge of the upper panel than the leading edge of the upper panel,wherein the second member of the framework resists inward pressure by the upper panel when the upper panel is in the deployed orientation, andwherein in the retracted orientation, the framework is positioned flush against the door. 2. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, wherein in the deployed orientation, the upper panel and the side panel taper rearwardly. 3. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, wherein the side panel is planar. 4. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, wherein the side panel is connected to the upper panel. 5. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, wherein the door comprises a door frame. 6. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, further comprising a lower panel, wherein the lower panel is coupled to the framework to allow for simultaneous movement with the upper panel. 7. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, wherein the framework further comprises two or more rotating joints. 8. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, wherein the upper panel comprises two upper panel sections, and wherein the side panel comprises one panel section. 9. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, wherein the first member is a vertical connecting bar. 10. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, wherein the second member of the framework is coupled to the upper panel substantially at the trailing edge of the upper panel. 11. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, wherein the upper panel moves from the deployed orientation to the retracted orientation in response to movement of the framework. 12. The aerodynamic device of claim 1, wherein the framework further comprises a latch, wherein the latch is coupled to the trailing edge of the upper panel. 13. An aerodynamic device for a rear portion of a cargo body, comprising: an upper panel;a side panel; anda securing mechanism comprising a first member and a second member,wherein the upper panel and the side panel are adapted to have a deployed orientation and a retracted orientation,wherein the upper panel includes a leading edge and a trailing edge, the trailing edge positioned away from the cargo body and the leading edge proximate a top of the cargo body when the upper panel is in the deployed orientation,wherein the first member of the securing mechanism is coupled to a door of the cargo body and to the second member of the framework,wherein the second member of the securing mechanism is coupled to the upper panel at an attachment point that is closer to the trailing edge of the upper panel than the leading edge of the upper panel,wherein the second member of the securing mechanism resists inward pressure by the upper panel when the upper panel is in the deployed orientation, andwherein in the retracted orientation, the securing mechanism is positioned flush against the door. 14. The aerodynamic device of claim 13, wherein the securing mechanism further comprises two or more rotating joints. 15. The aerodynamic device of claim 13, wherein the framework further comprises a latch, wherein the latch is coupled to the trailing edge of the upper panel. 16. The aerodynamic device of claim 13, wherein the first member is a vertical connecting bar. 17. The aerodynamic device of claim 13, wherein the upper panel moves from the deployed orientation to the retracted orientation in response to movement of the securing mechanism. 18. An aerodynamic device for a rear portion of a cargo body, comprising: an upper panel;a side panel;a lower panel; anda framework comprising a first member and a second member,wherein the upper panel and the side panel are each separately mounted to a door of the cargo body,wherein the upper panel and the side panel are adapted to have a deployed orientation and a retracted orientation,wherein the upper panel includes a leading edge and a trailing edge, the trailing edge positioned away from the cargo body and the leading edge proximate a top edge of the door when the upper panel is in the deployed orientation,wherein the lower panel is coupled to the framework to allow for simultaneous movement with the upper panel,wherein the first member of the framework is coupled to the door of the cargo body and to the second member of the framework,wherein the second member of the framework is coupled to the upper panel at an attachment point that is closer to the trailing edge of the upper panel than the leading edge of the upper panel, andwherein the second member of the framework resists inward pressure by the upper panel when the upper panel is in the deployed orientation.
