The cover assembly of claim 8, wherein the opening mechanism further includes a hinge disposed between the beam and the means for coupling. 10. The cover assembly of claim 9, wherein the cover, the beam, and the frame are configured to pivot about the hinge so as to allow the cover, the beam, and the frame to rotate from a generally horizontal orientation in the closed position to a generally vertical orientation in the open position. 11. The cover assembly of claim 8, wherein the frame is concealed under the cover in the closed position. 12. The cover assembly of claim 8, wherein the means for coupling is secured to a first side of the container, and wherein the beam is configured to rest on a second side of the container when the cover is in the closed position. 13. The cover assembly of claim 14, further comprising a roller disposed between the beam and a portion of the frame. 16. The cover assembly of claim 14, wherein the frame is concealed under the cover in the closed position.
