Passive samplers have often been used to measure and evaluate the concentration levels of air pollutants, and are well suited to indoor and personal monitoring, as they can accurately and directly measure air pollutants in indoor environments. In this study, we developed and evaluated a passive sampler using 4- amino-3-hydrozino -5-miercapto-1, 2, 4-triazole (AHMT), 3-methyl-2-benzothiazolinone hydrazone, and 2,4-dinitrophenyl hydrazine reagent. We have also determined the effect of sampling time, air velocity, air humidity, temperature, and storage period on the measurement of formaldehyde.
