(CH4 scaling factors for the water management methods)
The uncertainty of the investigated data was 12.07% with a valuable error range of 1.47-1.88 kg CH4 ha-1 day-1 with a 95% confidence interval. The average CH4 emission factors were 1.68 kg CH4 ha-1 day-1 for continuously drainage, 1.39 for one-week drainage, 1.10 for two-week drainage, 0.81 for three-week drainage.
(N2O emission factors for soybean field)
The uncertainty of the investigated data was 64.0% with a valuable error range of 0.012±0.0076 kg N2O-N/ N kg with a 95% confidence interval. The average N2O emission factors for soybean field, and There factors were lower than that of the IPCC default value (0.0125 kg N2O-N/kg N).
(Crop residue burning emission factors)
Emission efficiency for crop residue burning were showed CH4 2.03~4.17 g kg-1, CO2 1,015~1,361 g kg-1, N2O 0.07~0.18 g kg-1, CO 57.4~78.7 g kg-1. According to crops, emission efficiency of CH4 were higher in soybean, sesame and perilla residue burning. The biggest emission amounts from biomass burning was showed soybean residue, that was CH4 194, CO 3,577, N2O 8.4 ton, and amount of CO2 was the same order.
< project 2>
According to applicationd of 3, 5, 7 Mg/ha of rice straw, methane emission increased by 46, 101, 190 %, respectively, compared to that of the NPK plot. We obtained a quantitative relationship between CH4 emission and the amount of rice straw applied from rice fields whice could be described by polynomial regression of order 2. The emission scaling factor estimated by the relationship were in the range of IPCC GPG(2000).
< project 3>
The range of methane emission efficient was from 0.93 to 3.51 kg CH4/ha/day. Error was from 0.68 to 3.61 kgCH4/ha/day. Methane emission efficient with variety of organic matter was order barley > hairy vetch > milk vetch > rye+hairy vetch. Average methane emission efficient during growing rice in Jennam area was 1.24 kg CH4/ha/day
< project 4>
The average methane emission rates were 5.50 kg CH4 ha-1 day-1 in Flooded pre-season > 30 days, 5.06 in non-flooded pre-season < 180 days and 4.04 in non-flooded pre-season > 180 days.
< project 5>
The mean CH4 emission rate was 2.32 kg CH4/ha/day and the uncertainty of the investigated data was 21.7% with a valuable error range of 1.82-2.82 kg CH4/ha/day with a 95% confidence interval.
Secondly, the scaling factor of rice cultivars was estimated by using 3 years CH4 emission rates of 6 rice cultivars, which received the largest cultivation proportion among rice cultivars in 2010s. The CH4 emission rates were having large differences among the selected rice cultivars. The scaling factor of rice cultivars was calculated by the comparative CH4 emission rate of each rice cultivar to the CH4 emission rate (2.34 ㎏ CH4/ha/day) of Chuchung cultivar. The scaling factors of Nampyeong, Dongjin, Samgwang, Ilmi and Junam cultivar were 1.43, 0.73, 1.06, 1.06 and 0.93, respectively. However, the adaptability of rice cultivar scaling factor to develop as the national inventory of CH4 emission rate in rice paddy soil might be very small, since the cultivation area of each rice cultivar was continuously and unexpectably changed and the related statistics were not guaranteed however.
< project 6>
Emission factor of N2O calculated from accumulated N2O emission, nitrogen fertilization rate, and background N2O emission was 0.0056 kg N2O-N kg-1 N for Chinese cabbage grown in spring, 0.0058 kg N2O-N kg-1 N for Chinese cabbage grown in fall, and 0.0049 kg N2O-N kg-1 N for potato.
< project 7>
In average for 3 years, the total N2O emissions of each treatment in field of soybean were 2.110(N 0), 3.165(N 0.5), 5.039(N 1.0), and 7.228(N 2.0) kg N2O ha-1 yr-1, respectively. And then the primary regression between nitrogen fertilizer amount and the total N2O emission was showed as y = 2.6184x + 2.0942 (r2=0.9885), and an average of the default value was EF1 0.0148(0.0118~0.0191) N2O-N kg N-1 kg-1 from 2010 to 2012. These result was a little higher than the default value of the IPCC 1996 Guideline(EF1 0.0125) when the results are
converted into emission factor.
< project 8>
To summarize the above results, N2O emissions factor in carrot cultivation was estimated to 0.0072 kg N2O-N / N kg. It was tendency lower about 0.58 times than the IPCC default value 0.0125 kg N2O-N / N kg. When is applied the emissions factor 0.0072 kg N2O-N / N kg estimating greenhouse gas emissions in carrot cultivation, emissions of greenhouse gases is considered to be possible reductions of about 42.4% than appling the IPCC default value.
