Ⅰ. Purpose Internet of Things is expected to have a significant impact this decade and next decade’s economy by creating demand for data by means of connectivity of smart devices, new sensors. Still in its infancy and with a remarkable growth potential IoT still faces huge challenges to became a reality. The IoT success depends strongly on standardization, which will provide interoperability, compatibility, reliability, and cost effective operations at a global scale. At this juncture we want to organize two session in 21st technology summit and expo 2015, The Purpose of this session is to provide an active platform for research scientists, engineers, and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, idcas, and applications in the pervasive area of Internet of Things.
Ⅱ. Contents In order to promote the international research collaboration between Korean and India, We are proposing to conduct this two session during the 21st India Summit. As India is marching with "Make India" slogan, this is right time for technology transfer from Korean side. Korean experts will share their research result in this summit which act as a platform for thc technology integration from both countries. First session focus on urban planning starting from smart home to smart cities with the help of Internet of things (IoT) and Big Data. As infrastructure is a major hurdle for India's growth, this emerging area would benefit Indian sector to fullest extent and eventually trigger partnership in various sectors between two countries. Second session will focus on IoT in health area for betterment life. As there are still many issue starting from malnutrition to diabetes in India, this session contribute to sharing thoughts from experts on how to cope, with and reduce such issues, and improve life and promote healthy way of living there by making healthγ India. There are various challenge involved in both session starting from communication technology to sensors and energy. The main goal is to promote integration among Korean and India counterpart to share their views on issues at hand there by we could establish a stronger ties in the area of ICT.
