Ⅳ. 연구개발결과
남부지역 적응 고품질 품종개발을 위하여 미질과 밥맛, 재배안전성 등을 기본 조건으로 우량계통 선발에 활용하였으며 미질은 65%이상의 완전미 도정수율과 심복백이 없는 투명한 외관을 지닌 계통으로서 쌀알 균일도가 높고 윤택이 있으며 밥맛이 우수한 계통을 선발하였다.
또한 건강에 이롭고 안전한 쌀 생산을 위한 도열병, 흰잎마름병, 줄무늬잎마름병, 벼멸구 저항성을 갖는 복합 내병충성과 도복, 저온 등에도 강한 계통과 친환경, 저투입 재배를 위한 소비재배를 검토하여 선발한 결과 미품, 조평, 수안, 동보, 소다미

In this study target of rice breeding is development of high-quality, high-yielding and pest resistance rice cultivars. Labor-saving, low-cost and safe yield production under different environmental conditions is very important for international competitiveness and national security. Currently, the main direction of the country's rice breeding program is on how to increase the yield potential, safe grain production and how to improve the marketing quality and palatability of cooked rice. However, the breeding objectives have been changed to meet the socioeconomic needs and cultural practices of growers.
For development of new high quality rice variety adaptable for the southern area in korea, experiment plain area in Iksan, southern mid-mountainous area in Sangju, Unbong, south-western coastal area Gyehwa, south-eastern coastal area Yeongdeog.
1) Development of mid-late mature high quality rice breeding adapt southern plain area, select high quality, multi pest resistance and high yield parents. After artificial cross from F1 pedigree and bulk method used in handling. The breeding rice materials was modified to the general breeding system. During in winter the generation for advancement scheme utilizing the greenhouse. From 2011 to 2015 released 5 varieties Mipum, Sodami, Hyeonpum, Haepum, Ambaeg. And 6 elite line selected. 2) Development of early mature rice breeding adapt southern plain area, select multi pest resistance especially RSV and high yield parents. After artificial cross from F1 pedigree and bulk method used in handling. The breeding rice materials was modified to the general breeding system. From 2011 to 2015 released 2 varieties Jopyeong, Unilchal. And 6 elite line selected. From this experiment published 6 papers ‘Multi-resistance early mature rice variety Jopyeong’.
3) Development of high quality rice breeding adapt south eastern coastal area.
Yeongdeok substation especially for selection and screening of cold sea wind tolerance. Select multi pest resistance, cold tolerance and high yield parents. After artificial cross from F1 pedigree and bulk method used in handling. The breeding rice materials was modified to the general breeding system. From 2011 to 2015 released 5 varieties Dongbo, Jinbo, Dabo, Daebo, Sinbo. And 6 elite line selected. From this experiment published 6 papers ‘High quality, multi-resistance mid-late mature rice variety Jinbo’.
4) Development of early mature rice breeding adapt southern mid-mountainous areas. Sangju substation for selection of early maturity and cold tolerance adaptable to the southern mid-mountainous areas. Unbong site for selection and screening of cold tolerance in southern mountainous area. Select early mature, multi pest resistance, cold tolerance and high yield parents. After artificial cross from F1 pedigree and bulk method used in handling. The breeding rice materials was modified to the general breeding system. From 2011 to 2015 released 6 varieties Geumyeong, Sanhomi, Seollemi, Ondami, Jungmo1007, Jungmo1012. And 7 elite line selected. From this experiment published 3 papers ‘Multi-resistance high quality, early mature rice variety Jinbo’. et al.
5) Development of high yield rice breeding for rice process.
Select multi pest resistance, high yield parents. After artificial cross from F1 pedigree and bulk method used in handling. The breeding rice materials was modified to the general breeding system. From 2011 to 2015 released 2 varieties Heumangchan, Heugsujeong. And 5 elite line selected. From this experiment published 2 papers ‘Mid-late maturity high yield rice variety Boramchan’. et al.
6) Development of direct seeding rice breeding for low-cost rice product.
Select lodging, multi pest resistance, high yield parents. After artificial cross from F1 pedigree and bulk method used in handling. The breeding rice materials was modified to the general breeding system. And Screening lodging resistance and cold tolerance, standing ability in direct seeding. From 2011 to 2015 released 5 varieties Suan, Sugwang, Subo, Jungmo1025, Jungmo2041. And 7 elite line selected. From this experiment published 4 papers ‘Multi-resistance high quality, early mature variety Jinbo’. et al.
7) Development of rice breeding adapt southern reclaimed areas.
In Gyehwa for adapt reclaimed land, selection and screening of tolerance to salinity in south-western coastal areas. Select multi pest resistance, salt tolerance, lodging tolerance and high yield parents. After artificial cross from F1 pedigree and bulk method used in handling. The breeding rice materials was modified to the general breeding system. From 2011 to 2015 released Jungmo1013. And 5 elite line selected.
