□ 한국 청소년들의 여가생활 및 삶의 만족도, 행복감은 2007년 조사를 시작한 이래 2012년 현재까지 점진적으로 상승하는 추세를 보이고 있음.

「Youth Values Survey」 is an anonymity of the self survey from the fifth grades of elementary school to the third grades of high school to determine the values of the Korean adolescents and establish their customer-centric policy. This research which is a state-approved statistics(Approval number: 16
「Youth Values Survey」 is an anonymity of the self survey from the fifth grades of elementary school to the third grades of high school to determine the values of the Korean adolescents and establish their customer-centric policy. This research which is a state-approved statistics(Approval number: 16706) has been conducted since 2007 and delivered as the international comparative study of South Korea, China and Japan since 2008. The number of participants in 2012 is 5,098 Korean, 2,083 Chinese, 2,075 Japanese, and newly added five‧sixth-grade students of elementary school.
The Korean research was conducted by professional survey organizations, while the Chinese was handled by the China Youth Research Center and the Japanese was conduced by th Japan Youth Research Institute from June 4 to July 23 in 2012, and the contents of the research of 2012 are consisted of 108 items of 8 areas, from outlook on life, family and marriage, career and vocational, school and friends, society and country, history to multicultural sense, except that the view on North Korea and the consciousness on the reunification were only conducted for the Korean adolescents.
Looking into the results, the Korean youth’s leisure, life satisfaction and happiness in the area of outlook on life, have gradually increased since 2007 to 2012, but slowly stopped increasing as they get old. In addition, the Korean adolescents think family, health and friends more importantly than money, education and power in their lives, and the interests on arts and sports are relatively high in all the three countries. In family and marriage, the trilateral adolescents take their families positively overall, showing high level of satisfaction in the life of the family. The Korean adolescents, especially female students tend to be a little far from traditional family values. The number of the adolescents who have clear goals in lives and will choose jobs themselves by the standards that they created is more than the ones who don't in the career and vocational aspects. In the school and friends aspects, the number of the Korean and Japanese adolescents who are interested in studying is less than the Chinese adolescents, putting themselves a little higher than the average and it is getting lower as they grow old. In addition, there are more students who think schooling is better than private tutoring in all those three countries, but nearly half of the Korean and Japanese students expressed negativity and another nearly half of adolescents answered that private tutoring is necessary for entering school. Related to bullying in schools, more than half of the Korean adolescents find the causes of bullying from victims and two out of three think that bullies should be punished. In the society and country view, more than half of the trilateral adolescents recognize that their societies respect for diversity and human rights. They also commonly think that if other countries are faced with unexpected difficulties, they should actively assist on the other hand, NIMBY and PIMBY phenomenon were also shown. All the trilateral adolescents are likely to think that the wrongs of history should be corrected from the historic viewpoint and that multiculture help the development of countries and multicultural youth deserve equal rights as other people in the multicultural sense.
At last, from the view on North Korea and the consciousness on the reunification, there are lots of adolescents who feel the need of reunification but positive thinking on North Korea has decreased than the past.
In the study, plenty of suggestions were delivered such as activation of youth activities through policies that are focused on spreading social participation of young people, operation of youth activities based on the human rights education, integrated educational approach, development of training empowerment programs of parents and teachers for adolescents' self-promotion initiative and switching the direction of the values education for creating the community sense.
