Recently, as an electronic document related business move out from PC to smart devices along with the increase of mobile working environment, not only fixed document forms such as office file but also dynamic document files linked to database based on enterprise system are created and are evolving into the two-way interactive electronic documents that transparently reflects the field situations using convenient input functions of the device.
So we have defined a technology for two-way interactive electronic forms as "Smart e-Form" which can be integrated with enterprise business systems and generates and processes electronic documents in mobile environments, and related generic technologies have been developed.
□ Necessity and purpose
Though the current Smart e-Form market is occupied by package softwares, the cost of the package, server hardwares, and implementation of business systems will be much of a burden to small and mid-sized companies.
Especially, cloud-based service delivery methods are indispensable for targeting overseas markets which prefer cloud services rather than on-premises.
Our goal is to construct a cloud-based operating platform so that companies can utilize Smart e-Form services without the initial investment cost. Moreover, we intend to preempt the global Smart e-Form market by establishing a marketplace where developers in each field can easily participate in the Smart e-Form development and trade.
