[국내논문]B16 Melanoma 세포에서 후박나무(Machilus thunbergii) 추출물이 멜라닌 생성에 미치는 영향 연구 A Study of the Effects of Machilus Thunbergii Extract on Melanin Production in B16 Melanoma Cells원문보기
This study has attempted to figure out the anti-oxidative effects of Machilusthunbergii extract through the scavenging of free radial and SODactivation andinvestigate its inhibiting effect on melanin production using B16 melanoma cells. Then, the following results were obtained: First, Cell viability was 100%, 99%, and 94% in 1,10, and 100 ㎍/㎖ of Machilus thunbergii extract. Second, according to measurement offree radical scavenging activities using DPPH solution, they were 9%, 55%, and 76% in 1,10, and 100 ㎍/㎖ of Machilus thunbergii extract. Third, in terms of SOD activities, theywere 4%, 54%, and 73% in 1, 10, and 100 ㎍/㎖ of Machilus thunbergii extract. Fourth,in terms of tyrosinase activities, they were inhibited by 15% and 24% in 10 and 100 ㎍/㎖ of Machilus thunbergii extract. Fifth, according to an analysis of its effects onmelanin production, the production was inhibited by 35% and 43% in 10 and 100 ㎍/㎖ ofMachilus thunbergii extract. Since Machilus thunbergii extract contains a lot offlavonoids, anti-oxidation and strong SOD activities were found. In addition, it hasinhibited melanin production by slowing down tyrosinase activities. Therefore, it appearsthat Machilus thunbergii extract would be available as an anti-oxidative or whiteningingredient in the cosmetics industry.
