The purpose of this study is to analyze the relation between the height of hip joint(high, medium, low) in 100m crouching start and athletic variations. As a result, the followings were concluded. 1. The vertical movement variation of human body's midst until three steps after starting was highest in each -2.9cm in the high position, 6.15cm in the medium, and 10.08cm in the low. 2. The continuing horizontal movement variation of human body's midst was highest in each 325.64cm in the high position with 325.64cm in the medium and 295.98cm in the low. 3. The foot step's continuing movement variation in each phase was each 370.19cm in the high position, 358.28cm in the medium and 295.98cm in the low, which shows that there is no big difference between the high position and the medium position while making much difference in the low position. 4. The continuing lapse in each phase was 2.95sec in the high position, 2.98sec in the medium, and 2.97sec in the low not making so big difference. Whereas in P1 and P2 it took much less time in the high position. 5. The average velocity of human body's midst movement in each phase was 3.83m/s in the high position, 4.04m/s in the medium, 3.82m/s in the low with the fastest in the medium position. 6. The average velocity of foot step in each phase was 8.19m/s in the high position, 8.10m/s in the medium, and 8.00m/s in the low with rather faster in the high position especially from S2 to S4. 7. There was no big difference in the trunk angle in standing posture. However, the angle of low limb joint angle was inclined to be higher in the higher position. 8. In the angle of upper limb joint angle was inclined to be high in the high position in all phases. 9. In the angle of elbow joint angle, all phases don't show any difference. As a result, what this study shows is that human body's vertical movement variation was highest in the high position, which tells elementary school students' bodies have not been fully developed, therefore unsafe in the high position with the velocity faster in the high and medium position than the low. Although the horizontal movement variation in the high position was rather small and it took less time in P1 and P2, there was big difference in the continuing lapse. It tells us that elementary school runners are not seemed to be quite prepared for utilizing the athletically fair condition when starting.
