The purpose of this study is to analyze the realtion in the height of hip joint in 100m crouching start and athletic variations.(high, medium, low) For the purpose of this study, 8 high school students who received high awards in the nation-wide competition were selected As a result, the following were concluded, 1. In the displacement of CG, when starting all phase showed most high in the longest vertical displacement of CG in low position. 2. In the displacement of CG, when starting all phase showed most high in the longest horizontal displacement of CG in high position. 3. In the displacement of foot segment, all phase showed the little dispacement in low position and moderate position, but smaiier than the both. 4. In the duration of CG, it doesn's show difference, however P1, P2 showed the shortest duration in the high position 5. In the velocity of CG all phase showed the fastest horizontal velocity in middle position. 6. In the velocity of foot, in each phase from S2 to S4 showed the fastest velocity in high position. 7. In the trunk angle in standing S1 doesn's show any difference. however, knee joint angle was larger than normal in high position. 8. In the angle of upper limb joint angle was inclined to be high in the high position in all phase 9. In the angle of elbow joint, all phase doesn't show any difference. As a result, medium, high position is more useful than low position in starting point. But the young runners' records of 100m are not differ from each other positions, because they have little ability using these positions practically. So young runners need more training to use these positions practically for high record.
